WWE has hired Tully Blanchard as a producer (formerly known as an agent). Blanchard will be replacing the spot Jimmy Garvin had held with WWE before he quit last week.

Tully Mother Fucking Blanchard! I expect to see matches take a drastic improvment in the coming months.

The fact that you don't love Tully Blanchard physically hurts me, the fact you don't know him makes left left arm go a little numb.

IMO, Blanchard is the single most underrated worker in history.

Him or Dibiasie(sp?) I really don't see who else qualifies... but as far as Blanchard goes it was the Four Horseman that held him back. And I mean that. He got stuck in Ric Flair's shadow, and that is a hard place to get out of.

Ah, well i wasn't a wrestling fan back then and I don't know much about the four horsemen. Never been a Ric Flair fan either.

I don't know. I mean Arn had his chance to kind of break free of Flair, personally I just don't think he(Arn) had that special "it" to do it. I think ultimately Blanchard would have become a god amoung men, but the fact he couldn't get his drug problem under control fucked him over.

But I can totally see how being the Horsemen was a double edged sword. It put him on the map, but kept him away from other options. :/

So if this is the best move they made in months. Then I guess having Kevin Federline (dare I say it) on RAW back to back be the worse move this year?

Arn is an agent, has been on TV

Flair still wrestles

Tully was hired as an agent

Someone get Ole in, just to get all 4 Horsemen back in the ring one last time

If they got all four of them in the ring at the same time together again, I swear to you I would get an erection, have J.J. Dillon be a part of it and I would probably physically cum.

Dillon and Ole would both have to be well into their 60's now...they might want to get on this before one of them dies.

Speaking of Tully Blanchard, does anyone have any of Tully's most recent matches? I heard he had one with Jeff Jarrett not too long ago....

hahaha they had Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin working as an agent? Man he was...lackluster in the ring to say the least. but Tully, Is. God.

Good move. It's always good to have experienced people working behind the scenes.

A Jealous Tully attacking Ric and leaving the Horseman, leading to a year long tully vs flair program would have been un-be-fucking-lievable.

Tully is the greatest wrestler to never hold a world title. He is one of the best promo men, in ring hands, and one of the greatest heels ever.

For all you youngins, Wikipedia doesnt do Tully justice, as I know your looking him up. ANyone who grew up on the NWA knows his greatness. He was the First Main Event Mid carder.....Main event level in everything he did, holdign the TV title. He really elevated teh TV title, so much that it was the number 3 title in the USA behind the WWF and NWA world titles.

History has not been kind to tully. He left the NWA and never came back, and never would join in with WCW so they blackballed him. He failed a drug test in the WWF adn was dropped. He just faded away after that.

If Magnum TA would have never gotten injured, I think that Tully would have had a shot at him in the main events.

Yeah, we always get excited over new "producers" (wtf is that term anyway?) but nothing changes.
