It is amazing. Bale and Jackman are tremendous at least one of them has gotta get an Oscar nom out of this (great supporting turns from Michael Caine, David Bowie, Andy Serkis, and Rebecca Hall as well). One of the few movies I've seen in a while where story kept me completely engrossed, and I was genuinely interested in seeing where it went.

See this movie.

Really wanna see this. But this is one I gotta bring a girl for the magic effect. Probably see Flags of our Fathers first.

I really liked it. A second viewing makes it so much better, too.

Just got back. Ended up going along and had the whole theatre to myself.

Awesome. Really good film to get you thinking.

I really liked it. I was surprised to learn that they were in fact inspired by real illusionists, like the chinese magician who does the goldfish in a bowl trick.

Seeing it this weekend. Sounds like the studio really screwed up the marketing, surprised more people aren't talking about it.

I saw it with my Dad last Friday, I really enjoyed it. Was gonna make a topic, then couldn't remember if there already was one, then forgot about the whole affair entirely.

Anyway, great film. Bale and Jackman were both sensational.

Absolutely brilliant film. So many people have told me they don't want to see it, it saddens me.

I love the line @ the end that Michael Caine says about drowning. I sort of thought "wtf, thats random", then @ the end I was like, HOLY FUCK!!!

Yeah it's pretty good. Christian Bale has been my favorite actor since I saw him in Equilibrium many years ago. And with that said, bye.

I really enjoyed it, very underrated movie.

Micheal Cane is the man, as is Huge Ackman - Christian Bale is meh, but he did a good job.

Hate to bump the thread, but this movie was amazing. I had heard it was good, but hadn't gotten around to seeing it. Kinda had the 'true true I'll check it out' attitude. Didn't realize what I was missing.

Grade A movie
