I dunno if anyone else has upgraded to Itunes 7 recently but I had the misfortune of doing so a few days ago. Since then I have had songs start randomly about 10 seconds into the song, not been able to move to a part of the song (i.e if I move the slider along to near the end of the song I normally end up about 20 seconds into the song), and best of all about half my entire library just simply refuses to play. Add to this the fact that I had to restore my iPod for the first time EVER the other day and its probably responsible for that too. All over the apple boards people complaining about 100s of different things.
Biggest pile of shit piece of software I have seen EVER. And I've seen some crap. And people give Microsoft a bad time for releasing buggy software...
I love iTunes 7. Not having any problems at all, and I have 2 iPods.
Hope that helps. :y:

I downloaded it and 95% of my library didn't play anymore, uninstalled it and re-downloaded Winamp.

Yeah, iTunes 7 is shit. It barely functions if it's the only program running as it is, but lord help me if I have a web browser (or anything for that matter) open as well.

I have iTunes 7, and I just realised it. The only problem I have is it can't close without crashing.

THANK YOU. Seriously all my friends keep telling me it works fine when blatently its a programme which struggles to play music files clearly, without crashing, or indeed at all. As tough as that is.

Yeah, I've been having problems with it as well. My iTunes likes to crash when it closes. Also my iPod fucked up last night, still having major problems with it. Tried to restore it last night, looked like everything would be fine. This morning I go to listen to it, same problems. I'm going back to iTunes 6.

I thankfully don't use it for much. I downloaded it specifically for podcasts.

My iTunes 7 (after the little update they have) works perfect.

Same.
The one thing it did fuck up though was my quicktime stuff, all I get are green and pink lines on videos :-\

I hate Itunes. I just downloaded the winamp patch for my ipod, and removed Itunes.

Mines actually started behaving itself randomly. This just makes me more suspicious cos not one setting has been changed on my pc. So now it just seems to randomly choose when it wants to work
