Does it mean your TV is dead when you turn it on and all you get, it an black screen with an Horzontial line going thru the middle of it?

It would probably help if you gave details like what brand/model it is, how old it is, how long the problem's been going on, if you can do anything at all with it, etc.

Okay, um it's an Sanyo...Um I couldn't even tell you the year on it, had it for about 15 Year...

It worked perfectly last night while I was playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, before watching ultimate avenger before falling asleep...Had no problem playing last night.

I went to turn it on this afternoon, all it is, is an black screen, with an half inch horzontial line going down the middle of it, The line changes color, as if, the show is on, is actually playing, and the screen is blackout...

Nothing works, DVD, PS2, or just regular ass cable.

If you've had it for 15 years, it's time to upgrade. It's probably not even worth trying to fix.

I don't beleive so, plus I have it hooked up thru an Surge Protector...

It's not big deal, since I no longer need my Broken Ipod that would need it's fourth repair on my warranty, guess I could also, just choose not for them to give me an new one, and just get an new TV

Dearly Beloved, we are gather here today, to mourn the lose of my 15 Year Old Sanyo TV, an TV that has survived many consoles, from Atari, to Regular Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, PS1, PS2, Gamecube, X-Box...To enjoying every Mortal Kombat game with me...as well as surviving the onslaught of..the great porn invasion of 2005, where I got so many passwords to paysites and turned them into VCD...You will truely be missed
