View Full Version : All this Kirk Angel MMA talk...

got me wondering. Kurt would need to lose a lot of weight if he were to fight the guys they talk about him fighting. Seriously, he is huge. If he did lose the weight, he couldn't just show up on TNA the next day. I honestly do not see a Kurt Angle MMA match ever happening despite all the talk.

Discuss (why we need another Kurt Angel thread):

I think Burt Angle might do ok in MMA.

He'll drop a few but pounds but not many. He'll fight mostly other heavyweights and maybe a few light heavyweights. I'm predicting he fights 7 MMA fights. The first 5 will be against marginal (at best) opponents that Kurt will win in fairly decent fashion. He'll be 5-0 and this will set up a big $$$ fight with a big star in UFC (or somewhere else) in which Kurt will get KO'd in the first round.

After 6-8 months off and retraining and 'New', 'Improved', and/or 'Refocused' Kurt returns for a rematch that he will lose but not as horribly as the first. Kurt then retires and is never seen again.

I think he'd have to give up wrestling to lose the weight.

I thought he only wants to have 2 fights?

If he's going to fight any LH he'll have to drop like 50 pounds. He's a thick dude.

He can drop the weight. He can have another match, break his neck, and get his meals fed to him through a straw in low volumes. No sweat.

I think he will give up wrestling. I think he'll be in TNA for two years or so and then he'll pursue MMA.

That way he can retire the way he he spent his career. With a Broken FREAKIN' neck.

I refuse to do any more Kurt Angle jokes, mostly cause Kurt is making himself a big enough joke for my liking. It's like beating a cripple... well actually if you give Kurt another few months, it will be beating a cripple.

I joke, but honestly, I don't think he'll cripple himself. I think there's a risk, but I doubt it. I will joke about it, but honestly, I don't care if he does anymore. I won't be happy if he ends up in a wheelchair or dead, but I won't really feel any sorrow.

As long as I can still do HHH and Nash/quad jokes, Kurt's open season for me.

They tore them, WHILE WALKING!!! BWUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I just want to go on record that it's not beating a dead horse until someone actually dies. :shifty:

He's gonna die before he ever makes it to MMA

Hell, I think he just died right now

And I wanna go on record saying Kurt Angle has never dropped weight to compete in wrestling in his life. Infact, he took it as a sign of weakness that anyone had to drop weight. So with this being known, why the fuck would he need to drop weight to fight in MMA.

And WFA, UFC and Strike Force all wanted him to fight Daniel Puder, who is a heavyweight.

It won't exactly be too exciting watching a guy type out his promos. :(

The worst part'll probably be the referees acting surprised each week when Kurt's backstage brawl just happens to find its way onto another ramp.
