What's your opinion on him? He seems to be getting better every game. I'm starting to think he could be a legit # 1 receiver for the Patriots. Thoughts?

When have the Patriots ever had a #1 wide reciever? I'll take a lot of good wideouts instead of one really great one.

I know what you mean especially since Brady always throws to everyone, he threw to 10 different receivers last week but I'm saying I think Gabriel could fit good and be called a # 1 reciever like Branch was.

Yes, you've already said that..

Along with Sportscenter, NFL Live, NFL Blits, Sirius NFL Radio, Fox Sports Radio, ESPN Radio, ESPN News, the local paper, USA Today, Sporting News, Sports Illastrated, ESPN.com, NewEnglandPatriots.com, NFL.com, Fox Sports Net, Football Night in America, Inside the NFL, and I'm sure they'll talk about it today when the coverage starts..

How many different recievers did he pass to again??

I think I missed it??

Crippla

I personally don't think he has the size to be a number one, nor is he terribly fast. Then again, Branch is much smaller and he was a number one on that team, so I think if he plays the right way and runs his routes properly, he'll be fine as a one or two or whatever.

As for Pats vs Colts. I agree with CC, but I think its imperative the Pats can run with both Maroney and Dillon, like its seems like everyone and their mother has been doing.. If they can do that, they can then run play action and throw the ball. This will put points on the board and keep Manning off the field. If they can't score, you can't lose.

Gabriel look better than he is, because of Brady.

I hate Brady, but he makes average receivers look much better. Then he also throws to so many other people, that it only helps make the guys seem better. Gabriel is a serviceable journeyman, but he is part of the NE WR core. I give Brady all the credit. There is a reason why Caldwell and Gabriel are looking great this year after several years of being backups at best. It is also why Branch, Givens, Brown, Dwight, Johnson and Patten's play all dropped off after leaving NE.

Wait, wasn't Bledsoe the QB for the first of the three??

Crippla

No, he didn't play for the SuperBowl though, Brady did. LOL, Gabriel.

Wait, wasn't Bledsoe the QB for the first of the three??
lol no

He was on the team, but got knocked out after the second game then Brady took over and that's when the dynasty began.

Bledsoe did come in at the end of the AFC Championship game though, but he never took a snap in the Superbowl. Brady had the greatest drive in Superbowl history in their first Superbowl victory, over a 14 point favorite I might add.

"There's less then 2 minutes left and the game is tied, I don't get why the Patriots don't just take a knee and burn out the clock and take it to overtime" - John Madden

Bledsoe won one with the Pats before that season??

I dunno why but I always thought he had a ring, as a starter, for the Pats..

O_o

Jesus Shuttlesworth

Nah they made it to the Superbowl with Bledsoe a few years before they won the first one (like 10 years ago from now) but the Patriots lost to Green Bay.

Kris P Lettus
12-27-2006, 06:48 PM
Yeah..

I thought he had won one for some reason..

Nah he lost to the gayest TD celebration of all time ^

I hope Favre ends his career this Sunday with a loss to a bunch of Bears back ups

Bledsoe's still got a ring tho
