Vcd, divx, avi etc etc....sounds vs picture

ok I seem tot have this problem.
I have a heap of vcds and such things. When i got to play them on my computer. Depending on the program the sound doesn't work or the picture.

In Divx Player....Only picture works

In Power DVD and Windows media player on sound.

Real Player comes up saying i dont have the correct codec

They use to work not all that long ago...So im pretty puzzled.
Is there a website where I can get the codecs that anyone knows of?

my friend there are 2 sites:
www.vcdhelp.com ( under tools)
www.divx-digest.com ( software -> codecs)

When i play vcd's i usually just use and only use powerdvd for that kind of stuff. When i play is in powerdvd everything seems to work fine for me :)
