Back to the traditional survivor series matches and I'm lovin it. And these matches are very similar to the old days where you have your captains (the top guys) and then the mid-card guys.

Will I be buying this PPV?

let's not go too far. But nice effort though :y:

I'm contemplating buying it, I like the effort of the traditional Survivor Series matches. It brings back good memories.

I am really looking foward to it. This is the first pay per view I have been excited about it a long time, and I think I will be buying it.

I'm kind of on the wall about it. There is some stuff I want to see, namely the 5 vs. 5 Matches, and the US Title Match, but there is some stuff I can do without. Team Legend vs. The Spirit Squad, Mr. Kennedy vs. The Undertaker and King Booker vs. Batista are matches I'd rather read about than watch.

The card looked so promising until Smackdown ruined it with their shitty matches.

I'll still watch for the 5 vs. 5 matches though.

Today.

The Benoit/Guerrero match will be good, just felt that they could at least leave it for a Smackdown only PPV to try and improve ratings.

That just happened at Cyber Sunday ffs. They should at least come up with something new and original or add something to the fued.

I do somewhat agree with you. Chris Benoit vs. Chavo Guerrero would have been perfect for Armageddon.

Chris Benoit worked a match with KC James on SmackDown!. How hard would it be to have Idol Stevens beat Chris Benoit this week, in a non-title match, with help from Chavo Guerrero. Paul London & Brian Kendrick join Chris Benoit, as they have a rivalry with James & Stevens. Jimmy Wang Yang wins the Cruiserweight Title from Gregory Helms this same addition of SmackDown!, with help from Matt Hardy. Yang is added to Team Champion at Survivor Series, and Jamie Noble is added to Chavo, KC and Idol's team. Throw King Booker and Batista into the match, and you have yourself every SmackDown! Champion in one match.

That would make The Undertaker vs. Ken Kennedy the only singles match on the card. Why not throw them into the Legends vs. Spirit Squad match? That way it has that interpromotional flavour. The Undertaker, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper, Sgt. Slaughter and Dusty Rhodes vs. Mr. Kennedy, Kenny, Johnny, Mikey and Nicky would actually be an interesting match.

The Women's Title Match could easily add Victoria and Torrie Wilson on the face and heel sides, respectively. Jillian Hall and Kristal Marshall are a good and decent women's worker, respectively. Ariel and Trinity have a bit of a spat going, so they can be ECW's contribution. I want to add Jazz to the heel side of things, but knowing the WWE that would never happen. This would also be a ripe time for Beth Phoenix to return.

Just throw together some random babyfaces and heels for the remaining matches. So the final Survivor Series card, consisting entirely of 5 vs. 5 Matches, could look something like this:

SmackDown! Champion Showcase
1. King Booker (World Heavyweight Champion, Champion of Champions)
2. Chavo Guerrero
3. Jamie Noble
4. Idol Stevens

I really would have liked this match to happen. London and Kendrick should be on the card.

It would have been so easy to set up, too.

King Booker: I'm the Champion of Champions!

Theodore Long: Well, playa, seeing as you are the "Champion of Champions", you should be able to defeat any Champion in the world.

King Booker: I am the King of the World, Thaddeus, of course I can defeat any lesser Champion.

Theodore Long: Well, here's what we're gonna do...at Survivor Series...King Booker vs. the United States Champion, the Cruiserweight Champion and the Tag Team Champions!

King Booker: What!?! That ain't right, Teddy!

Theodore Long: Hold on, playa, you aren't going to be alone in the match. You see, it's going to be a Classic Survivor Series Match, and on your team will be KC James and Idol Stevens, Jamie Noble and Chavo Guerrero.

King Booker: Yes! That is more like it, Thaddeus!

Theodore Long: Now, for those of you doing the math, that's 5 against 4, in the King's favour. To even up the teams, the other SmackDown! Champions will be teaming with the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. The man I owe a personal favour to for protecting the King, thus protecting our World Heavyweight Championship. Ladies and gentleman...King Booker's team will face the team of Chris Benoit, Jimmy Wang Yang, Paul London, Brian Kendrick and..."The Animal" Batista! Holla, holla, holla!

Wouldn't it just have made more sense to mash the SD singles matches together and throw in unused RAW and ECW guys and make one more 5-on-5?

Batista, The Undertaker, Chris Benoit, Carlito, and The Sandman vs. King Booker, Mister Kennedy, Chavo Guerrero, Shelton Benjamin, and Matt Striker

That way, you can save Bats/Book, Taker/KK, and Benoit/Chavo for Armageddon and you have a really solid SD-exclusive PPV upper card.

You also have room to throw in a divas match, but make it SS-style, too: Mickie James, Ashley Massaro, Candice Michelle, Kelly Kelly, and Trinity vs. Lita, Melina, Victoria, Ariel, and Jazz. Something like that, anyway.

Alienoid, I think it's a travesty you aren't writing for these guys cause you make a hell of a lot more sense than their entire team.
