Has the season started yet? I have not heard one person say when the season is actually starting and there have been like a million games played but I have no idea if they are preseason or what. Like there has been the EA 2KSports Challenge and a bunch of games between real teams but I have no idea if they count or not. Maryland is playing Florida A&M tonight BUT I HAVE NO IDEA IF IT MATTERS.
But if it hasn't started then it starts soon I guess.
Anyway, go NC State

We are 3-0, but I wouldn't be surprised if we had the weakest non-conference schedule of any big conference school. This weekend it was North Carolina A&T, Army and Stetson. Coming up is Lipscomb, Davidson, and many similar.

BCWWF
01-21-2007, 11:56 AM
Well it is going to be a pretty crazy year, if I can judge so far. There are three teams that look pretty much a lock to be No. 1 seeds: Florida, UCLA and Wisconsin. For some reason I never have faith in Wisconsin basketball, but I think this year they should be legit. I expect at least two of those three teams to be in the Final Four.
Then there are some second tier teams right behind: North Carolina, Pitt, Ohio State, A&M, Oregon, Alabama and Kansas. I have no idea how it will all end up, but a Florida repeat is my prediction.
Also, the Big 12 is making it's return as a power conference again. Kansas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State and Texas could all potentially make the Elite 8. With Durant, Texas could be a big darkhorse. If Kansas can get up and win their first two rounds, they have the talent to easily reach the Final Four. Oklahoma State also has a lot of potential, with Boggan (I think that's his name) and Curry.
It sucks I can't watch a lot of these, but it seems like it will be a real good season.

Amazing day of basketball. out of the 40 games so far, I've picked 31 correctly. How are you guys doing bracket wise?
I hate Butler right now. They better not be the dream team this year.
BUTLER BULLDOGS!!!
I told you about Butler at the beginning of the year. They have a fantastic team. AJ Graves is amazing. He every bit of what Kirk Heinrich was to Kansas. Maybe even better. The guy should be drafted in the first round. He's a fantastic point guard and shoots the 3 ball both very well and very timely when they need it. This Butler team is the best Bulldog team i've seen. Better then the team that went to the sweet 16 two years ago and better that the team that nearly beat Florida 5 years ago.
Butler could go to the Final Four. Most likely they will be playing Florida ( though its tough cause my two favorite teams are Butler and Purdue) I'm obviously rooting for Purdue to pull the upset on Florida, but if that happens i'll be so torn.
If Purdue wins ( highly unlikely ), I think Butler will go to the Final Four. I think AJ Graves is possibly the best point guard in the country. He's up for Player of The Year this year even though he wont win it. Graves will give Florida so many fits and him alone will spread Floridas frontline thin with his outside shot and drive and finish or kick abilities.
I told you at the beginning of the year. Watch out for the Bulldogs. I'm telling you right now. They can beat Florida.
IU's team next year will be 10 times better then this years team with Eric Gordon coming in.
