How the hell do you safely take a Dragon Suplex (Full Nelson into a bridge)? I mean, you're landing right on your freakin' neck, right?

Haven't had the 'pleasure' of experiencing it but my guess would be keep your head up and take it on your shoulders.

But you still land awkward, no? Your shoulders aren't in a position to save you much considering your opponent's got his arms wrapped around them. Or maybe I'm wrong. I don't know, that's why I'm asking. :/

This is a Destor or Kayfabeman question.

I took it into a pool one time and I can only imagine how bad it is landing on canvas.

I would say that the person doing the move would have to allow you to land on your shoulders somehow. Like turn it into somewhat of a German suplex in mid-air. I dont' know, I'd have to see videos of how it's really done.

videos would be cool, it sounds sick.

It feels sick, believe me. Just picture someone in a Full Nelson but then getting suplexed.

This is something I've wondered for a while as well.

I've never taken one before, but I'd imagine it's like CSL said, landing on your shoulders.

Yeah, it's not the greatest feeling in the world.

If the guy who's doing it is nice he might release the finger grip before the bump, but there's no real technique to it, what you see is what you get really

Tuck your chin and pray he takes care of you. Best advice I can give.

The idea behind that move is not you keeping yourself from getting hurt, you have to relie on the instigator to do that, he has to land on his shoulders softening the blow when you land on yours, otherwise you will likely hear a loud snap, also, don't high-angle spinebuster anyone off a ladder onto an object it hurts...alot.

All I know, is that they do an obscene amount of neck bridges....

There were only 8 Dragon Suplexes in that video WWKD. For shame.

I also don't recall seeing an Everest German :nono:

I don't think they're were any half nelson suplexes or sleeper suplexes either :(

I just Youtubed Dragon Suplex, and it came up. I was also hoping they'd have Ryo Saito's Premium Bridge, but it did not :(

Could've sworn I saw a sleeper one in there somewhere

Like I said, it's all up to the person doing the move, but basically just fall backward and tuck your head up just as you're hitting the mat.
