well, if wwe wants my advice about RVD's place at WM it would be either against Shawn Michaels (the heel) or The Rock in a steel cage or some other stip, loser is suspended for a while or something stupid, either way Rock says theres no one the fans love more, RVD can even possibly turn heel. an even better idea is a bit more creative, Eddie wins at NWO he Faces lets say... Kurt, Eddie says he has the perfect Frog Splash, RVD jumps to smackdown (which he should probably anyway) and goes heel (which he hasnt done in forever) and he faces Eddie at the next PPV since Eddie wins anyway.

The WWE doesn't want anyone's advice.
RVD won't be doing Mania. I can almost guarantee it.

Think he meant RVD. Heh.
Anyway, glycerine... I wish the WWE would take advice from people sometimes myself. And RVD is definitely a star in my book, even though they seem to be ideas that were just spit out, it's good to see your eye for talent.
I'd rather see RVD than at least 75% of the current roster.

I must have missed that rumor when i was reading all of the other rumors about Rock and Sock reuniting to face Orton, Batista, and possibly Flair....?

I always believed The Rock was going to do the tag with Foley, but now I think so even more. Rock doesn't have nearly enough time to start his own feud that will be done justice. I just can't wait. Too bad it'll be his only match this year. :-\
But you can imagine the pop when Foley is getting his ass kicked and The Rock comes to his aid. The marks will wig out.

Why not move RVD to Smackdown and put him in the Cruiserweight Battle Royal to battle with Chavo, Rey Rey, Ultimo, Noble, Nunzio and whoever else (Jeff Hardy). I think it would be even more off the chain.

No way, as much as I love the crusierweight division it's buried too much for RVD to be a part of it.
My prediction for RVD is that somehow he's going to be involved in the Big Show vs. John Cena match for the U.S. title, in which he goes to Smackdown and works a feud with John Cena for the strap.
Seriously, RVD needs to go to Smackdown as a heel because he's boring as hell as a face. Back in ECW, RVD had the cocky "Whole Damn Show" gimmick, and he was mad over with the crowd, just like during the Invasion angle in 2001. RVD being a heel on Smackdown would really improve the lackluster heel slump.
You're not the only one who musta missed it...:wtf:It was originally reported that The Rock and Foley would face Batista and Orton, but now it's being told that The Rock might not even work WMXX.

So a rapper feuding with a surfer...
That's, like, the ulltimate "Inferno match..." since both gimmicks go in baked...

I thinks Vince is just holding down former WCW & ECW wrestlers. He'll let them have a taste of the gold then take it back.

I definitely can see a heel RVD. He was the best when he first debuted with his fued against Sabu in 1996. When I watched, I really really hated/disliked RVD. He was extremely cocky.
Heel RVD = Goodness

Damn that will suck if The Rock misses Wrestlemania :wavesad:

There were talks of doing Van Dam/Booker/Foley vs. Evolution. Not gonna happen now.

Maybe because outweights everyone in the crusierweight division from anywhere between 50 and 100lbs.

I can see RVD and BT taking the RAW tag titles, just so they can put the titles on someone like La Resistance or Cade/Jindrak. Whether that gets them on Mania is still up in the air. I would tend to agree with Rob that its unlikely he will make the show.
It would be cool if he went to Smackdown at soem point. Only problem is that with Cena, Taker and Guerrero the babyface side is kinda filled up, I'm not sure where he would fit in.

I'd just have Orton drop the IC title to Booker T or RVD (interference or distraction by Foley and Rock).
Then have Booker T vs RVD for the IC title at wrestlemania. If they don't want to do face vs face then turn Booker heel and pair him with Teddy Long (which I think would suck but is the only way to turn him within a month, plus it would give Booker and RVD a good 10-15 minute spot on the card)

I like the idea of BT turning heel.
However, I hate the idea of Orton dropping the IC title. Some people are saying that Orton should drop the title because he will likely end up in a tag match at Mania, or in a one on one with Foley, which wouldn't 'need' the IC title. I dont buy into that line of thinking that guys like RVD and BT need the title to get over their fued (if they were to have one). My thinking is that the IC title already means next to nothing, if you have Orton drop it once again makes the title look like a prop that has no real meaning. Why not keep it on Orton, let Orton keep getting wins on TV, and let him go into a high profile match at Mania with the IC title. That way people see the IC title, they see Orton working with guys like Rock and Foley, and that helps get the title over.

I think he'd fit in Smackdown pretty well as the cocky heel that everyone began to cheer for. Heyman could do wonders with Rhyno and RVD working for him.

Vince's ideal place for RVD at Wreslemania is selling popcorn or cleaning out O'Haire's cage.

I'll have to agree, RVD was never a "face" in the sense of the word untill after the Invasion angle. But he still got cheered, why? Because he is bad ass as a cocky guy that is every bit of good as he thinks he is.
However, you have to think though, if he was go to Smackdown would he be allowed to perform matches a little more freely? Meaning, will he be the ECW RVD or continue to be the watered down WWE version. Of course, he will still be told to keep it safe and have to continue to water down his matches. So it really makes no difference whether he is a heel or a face. Although, I do miss the whole F'n show gimmick.

RVD vs. Rehab.
I think they need to have Orton drop the IC strap to RVD or Booker T. If Foley vs. Orton is going to be a one on one match, there is no reason for the Intercontinental title to be involved.
Let BT or RVD have it, then have a triple threat or fatal fourway (BT vs. RVD vs. Hardy V1 vs. someone) for the title at Mania.
If RVD is shafted from the WrestleMania card again then he should just leave WWE and go somewhere where he'll get more respect for his skills.

Nice way to make the IC title seem worthless
Orton needs to keep that IC title for a long time yet.
I guess I'm gonna have to tell you all why Rob Van Dam isn't working Mania - Remember how a guy calling himself "Willy The Worker" bitched about him not working Mania last year as well as burying Nathan Jones and the company in general? Well that was Rob Van Dam. Need anymore explanations?

that makes the most sense (RVD being Willy the Worker)
Instead of RVD we'll probably get a nice match between Matt Morgan and Shannon Moore
