Can I play PS2 games on the PS3 or what.

Also what is so special about the $600 value pack or whatever one as opposed to the $500 one.

Yes you can play PS2 games

The difference between the two is that the $600 one, along with all the other normal things, comes with WiFi and a 60 GB hard drive while the $500 one has only the 20GB drive.

I think I'm missing something, though.

All the systems are backward compatible this time around. About time, I say.

The PS3 is having trouble playing some PS2 and PS1 games.

The more exspensive one also has memory stick readers, etc, and a chrome faceplate... I think I'm missing something else too.

that's awesome it's an 802.11 g device. Wifi companies use 802.11 g Acess Points to serve 50 customers.

K and is there a real special reason why I would want the bigger hard drive or is it just more room to save music and stuff?

Actually, it doesn't matter much because you can swap out HDDs for any drive that's a 2.5" Serial ATA

what

You can change the hard drive that comes with the PS3 to any size you want as long as it's a 2.5" drive (basically a laptop hard drive)

BTW, I think the benefits of a bigger hard drive would be better internet browsing, more saves, more music, etc.
