List your Top five themes of all time that get you excited. I"m not talking "best" theme. I mean theme that does sound good but also you hear it you get goosebumps because something decent will/may happen.

Honourable mention 1) Hulk Hogan- Voodoo Child. Seriously awesome song and it's a heel Hulk hogan

Honourable mention 2) Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen. Simple themes and very fitting. I guess just the way they carry themselves the theme tops it off.

5) NWO Black and White: NWO was bad ass and when the porno music hit something was up.

4) Mr. Perfect: His theme kicked ass. He was the goods in the ring so you hear that simple tune you know you're going to see Perfection.

3) DX: Very similar to NWO but being a WWE fan everybody marked out for DX. We used to play it at school.

2) Stone Cold: When the glass breaks somebody's getting beat down.

1) Piper: Yes I said Piper. There's something about when the Bagpipes start howling away. He was such a good heel and the pipes just topped it off.

Shawn Michaels: My fave theme of all time ever, just sums up HBK in a pinch really.

Stone Cold: Same Reason as stickman

The Rock: Brings back memories

Kane: The theme itself suits Kane really well, you just knew hell was gonna break loose, that was until he lost his mask and became a pansy.

Mr. Perfect's theme would have to be mine. My fondest memory of him was his recent spot in the Rumble in 2002 or so. Two or three guys were trying to push him over the top rope, and, while struggling, he took the time to spit out his gum and whack it away with his hand. Classic. :y:

Not themes I mark out for, but my favorite themes at the moment:

Edge - "Metalingus"
Paul Burchill
Maven - "Tattoo" by Big Mother Thruster
- I even like the remake Mercy Drive later did, "Memory" (same band, new name)
Hogan - "Voodoo Child" (They use it for some ad now and I keep thinking it's old footage of Hollywood Hogan :p )

Used to mark for Goldberg's WCW theme like a 12 year old kid on pixie sticks.

Still mark for the nWo music.

Before he came back, I was the biggest mark for HBK's theme. When he was playing the commissioner role and would show up on RAW like once every three or four months. Everytime his music hit I knew something big was gonna happen... it's amazing how little I care about HBK in general right now. Absence makes the heart grow fonder, I guess.

Stone Cold Steve Austin: Glass breaks. 'Nuff said.

Money Inc.: When I hear Ted's evil laugh, I turn up the volume up.

nWo: The original theme. Not Wolfpack's, not the side theme stooges get to use.

All I can think of for now.

Stone Cold - Glass Shatter made me mark out everytime, reasons like stickman
The Rock - The huge POP he got, and how he had that aura of awesomeness, and the no bullshit look he had on the way to the ring.
Triple H - King of Kings, WM22 Nuff said.
Mick Foley - Car crash was awesome
Brock Lesnar - Here comes the pain.
Spanky - you know why.
Edge - Metalingus and the smoke is awesome

Hassan's theme, because you knew you were going to see something worth talking about.

WOOOOOOOOO!!!! Ric Flair's theme is just freakin' awesome. No, he's not at his best, but there's something about a man his age still getting in the ring on a normal basis that makes me want to watch.

There's something about Goldust's theme that I really get excited about.

"The Nature Boy" Ric Flair - I'm sorry, but he will always go down in history of his old school flashy enterances. I sat in awe of him as a kid. Nothing can ever top that.

The Ultimate Warrior - His theme was half of his ability

D-Generation X - Nothing they have done lately, but '97 Hunter and Shawn, I would get the tingles.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin - The glass breaks, the music blares, it is Austin rapped up into music. I will always love his original glass breaking music, and not the more recent one.

Sandman - Enter the Sandman, come on. He is an entrance icon in my books.

Most of these have been said but anyway, here it goes.

DX-Back in 98, when you heard ARE YOU READY, you knew you were about to be seriously entertained by something.

NWO-Porn music means you know some crap was about to happen.

The Sandman-Enter the Sandman was great. I mean what other theme did everyone in the audience sing along to. Sometimes I would find myself singing along. You knew he was going to be busted open before the match too.

RVD-Walk, another where the people in the audience would sing along. Great entrance, and you knew the following match was going to be of great quality.

Balls Mahoney-Always liked that song. We've got the biggest, balls of them all! Also, guaranteed chair shots.

Austin-Obvious with the glass shattering.

Flair-Love the 2001 music. Fits his entrance so well.

You know, the nWo theme wasn't exclusively a porno theme. It was a production piece, meaning that anyone could license it. Fuck, if I had the money and were making a commercial or something, I could the license the theme (called "Rockhouse") for my own use in the ad.

Not to go away from my thread, but this is a bit of a side track.

The Sandman without Enter Sandman is absolutly rediculous. Seriously, with his generic crap that they play now, nobody knows wtf he comes from the stands banging beer over his head. It doesn't make sense. Most fans now have no idea who he is, yet he does the same bloody entrance as always only to music that does nothing to excite the crowd, or tell a story. Seriously, since he's not all that good in the ring, taking away the one thing that was great about him is not a good move. Either fire him, turn him into the Brooklin Brawler of ECWWE, or give in and play Enter Sandman.

Not sure what your implying, I know he is a jobber, but he's super hyped. Brooklin Brawler on the other hand was in the ring by the time the commercials were over, had a 3 minute match, disappeared. Sandman has a cane and a retarded entrance.

Triple H - The Game
Chris Benoit - Whatever
William Regal - Villian (not 100% sure with that title)
Jeff Jarrett - My World
AJ Styles - I Am

Kenta Kobashi - Blazin'
Great Muta - Great Muta Concerto

The Wolfpac theme. I used to be a huge mark for the red and black NWO, and when that wolf would howl at the beginning of the music, I'd find myself sitting up a little straighter and paying a little more attention.

Goldberg's theme. Everybody remembers it. Everybody I know that's ever watched even a little wrestling can hum the Goldberg theme.

Hassan's. When Daivari made his ECW debut, I nearly fell out of my chair. I thought for like, half a second, that maybe Hassan was back and in ECW, and I nearly shit all over myself. Much disappointment. Not too much, since Daivari is still the goods...but fuck. I miss that magnificent mother fucker. Muhammed Hassan could easily have been super credible main event material right now.

Just Close Your Eyes, Waterproof Blonde...aka Christian's theme, from his WWE Captain Charisma days. I was really hoping for more of that action, too.

Can't really think of any others.

Cannot believe no one mentioned the Nations music. That music was cash money back in the day.

also, the Rock's theme when he was in the nation. (Do you smell)

HBK
Stone Cold
Even though it wasn't a theme, I was watching one of the Wrestlemania's a couple of weeks ago, and the Wrestlemania Theme "Crack Addict" by Limp Bizkit.

I still mark out for the Hardy's theme.

There are loads of others that I will post.
