View Full Version : k so say there are a lot of bugs in the new systems
in the first shipments of them.
now i have not been online with any system before, so i don't really have a clue on how it works, but couldn't they just release bug fixes as downloads? in other words, could the people who got the first shipments really have nothing to worry with?

Hypothetically, they could knick SOME of the problems by releasing patches and whatnot online, but even a spokesperson from Sony has said it's unlikely that all the bugs will be found (and there seems to be a load of them, apparently).
It looks like Sony's launch has choked worse than Aurora Snow, at least to this point.
Software wise they will fix them but hardware is another situation. Well, mostly.

It's pretty much along the lines of the PS2 read-errors, and the 360's red circle of death. Some things, you'll just have to send the system back for.
Other things, such as the backwards-compatibility issues, they have stated that an update should fix those.
