The other day on the radio, I heard a version of "I Want You To Want Me" that was neither Cheap Trick nor the Letters to Cleo cover from 10 things.

Last night, I also heard a cover of "Bella Lugosi's Dead" by Bauhaus. NOw this is on a station where I can normally check their online playlist, but it's not up, despite it having been last night (Our playlists are updated hourly is the claim). It was a woman singing.

ANyone know who they could be by? The latter one I'd reckon is new, the Cheap Trick cover is from one of those stations that does that "80s, 90s and NOW" bullshit, so I suppose it could be pretty old (relatively speaking) or pretty new.

Only I Want You to Want Me cover I know of is by Propagandhi.

Yeah I doubt they're the ones who did this one.

Well, I found out who did the Bauhaus cover. Nouvelle Vague, whose "bande apart" CD seems to be all covers.

Some stuff about covers of it in there.

I went there before I started asking online. :)

Suffice to say I ruled out the ones that don't fit (The odds are against Propaghandi being on my radio, the odds are even more against the one that was done specifically on TV, etc.), and checked out the others.

wikipedia is horribly incomplete. I own dozens of covers not listed of various acts, some of them so mainstream I wonder how one could miss them. Their facts are often wrong, too, but that's neither here nor there. I was hoping someone would have more or better information.
