Man, i'm really kicking myself for missing the Tommy Dreamer era. He seemed so bad ass. Was he a the main champion at any point? I know it said he didnt beat Raven until Raven left for WCW. Those cane shot he was taking were brutal.

And when he found out his chick was cheating on him with another women and he was like " I'll take them both " or something. That was awesome.

Yeah, Tommy was great. I'm a little surprised ECW never let him run with the title.

I thought ECW wanted to but he never wanted it?

Could be. Dumb move on his part, though.

espically since he passed over his own title reign to fuel Justin Credible first and only title reign..

I've also heard this. Another understanding is that he only took the title to put Justin Credible over instantly as the company had just lost two mega names in the form of Tazz and Awesome.

You are correct. Tommy never wanted the title. Also, it was his idea for him to never beat Raven as well.

...and then the geniuses at Stamford had him finally go over Raven on Heat with little reference to their history. Why does WWE hate its fans?

Tommy did end up beating Raven in ECW, Right before Raven went to WCW.

Tommy Dreamer = ECW. Man should have had a good run after his Dream victory.

One of the reasons why the 'Tommy Dreamer' character worked was because the chips were always down when it was his turn, yet he still managed to almost make the victory, and almost come away with the win and because he did it without complaining afterwards.

Plus, the fact that the man was willing to work his guts out, helped him too.
