Pinback
Now It's Overhead
The Notwist
Three Mile Pilot
Desert City Soundtrack
Son, Ambulance
Cursive
Pedro The Lion

If you're specifically looking for acoustic, then American Analog Set would be the only one there that interests you. BUT all those bands are indie-licious.

Yo Mitchell, when you first posted abut the band Cartel, I downloaded Chroma immediately, and loved it right away. It is one of my favourite CDs of all time. I have listened to it in full (probably literally) like 100 times, and it never gets old. In conclusion, I love you and I trust you, and will murder you if I don't like this shit.

Come on, FakeRazor listed most of the same bands I did, plus some others I was gonna post but didn't because I assumed you'd heard of them (ie Sufjan Stevens).

In conclusion, as FakeRazor has excellent music taste and I have excellent music taste and we both concurred on a number of artists, there is little chance you will find either of us to be wrong.

Bam.

If you like Wilco then you probably will be open to Uncle Tueplo, seen as it was Jeff Tweedy's first band.
