In rock music. What bands (or artists) do you like that feature female vocalists?

Sonic Youth
Pretty Girls Make Graves
Jefferson Airplane
Nico
Rilo Kiley
Camera Obscura
Metric

Not really huge on Cat Power or Belle and Sebastian but they're ok.

I'm a big fan of the Dresden Dolls.

Also, Lucia's solo album, and her work with KMFDM is amazing.

I'm a big fan of the Dresden Dolls.

You must be tone deaf.

They have to be the worst act currently out there. And I'm not taking shots at everyone's choice in music here, but this one is just...Fucking...Awful...

Blue Demon

I think you made an enemy of every LAcna Coil fan out there...'Cept me, because I think the comparison of the two is about as stupid as comparing Nickelback and Queen OMGTHEREBOTHGUITARDRIVENROCKFRONTEDBYEMEN

Lacuna Coil fans describe Evanescence as a "Poor Man's Lacuna Coil."

I'll zip you up some MP3s, so you can seee how similar they are (Which is limted, pretty much, to "They have a chick who SINGS!")

Nah, I love the style. There's something about them that I really like. Maybe it's because she sings more sporadically. I've recommended them to a decent amount of people who have really liked them to. It probably just depends on what you're looking for in a band. To each their own.

Oddly enough, I'm not a big fan of Evanescence or Lacuna Coil. Granted I've only heard like two of Lacuna Coil's cds, they've done nothing for me.

Tegan and Sara kicked ass until If it Was You.

Also, the Downbeat 5. Low Fi rock, borderline Punk, who do some old rock numbers (Good's Gone, by the Who, Dum Dum Dutty).
