How would you book a Hogan/Austin fued?

I assume this would be a "WrestleMania level" match, so I'd start working toward it at the Royal Rumble. I will assume this is builiding up for WrestleMania 23.

Royal Rumble (in San Antonio,TX): Steve Austin is interviewed briefly since it is the 20th Royal Rumble and also because he has won more Royal Rumbles than anybody. Have Stone Cold put over an underdog rookie who could use the rub from being mentioned by Stone Cold in this manner. Then, have J.R. ask the inevitable "one more match" question, and have Stone Cold say he'd love to open a can of whoopass on "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan.

RAW After Rumble (Which is in Austin,TX): Stone Cold comes out and cuts a promo talking about how he has been drinking beers and has been thinking about wrestling one more time against Hulk Hogan.

RAW (a couple of weeks later): Hulk Hogan comes out to schill "Hogan Knows Best: Season 2" dvd's and he gets interrupted by Stone Cold and you do the epic confrontation thing. Hulk Hogan refuses. Stone Cold mentions that he will make Hulk Hogan want to fight before its said and done.

RAW: Hulk Hogan is live on RAW to hype the Hulk Hogan PowerJuicer™. Stone Cold appears on titanytron and asks Hulk Hogan one more time for the match. Hogan again refuses. Austin then says that he'll quit asking Hulk, but he then says that he'll ask Brooke. The camera pans out to reveal Austin has Brooke hogtied in the back up his pick-up truck. Austin then tells Hulk that either he gives Stone Cold what he wants or he'll take the only thing Hulk Hogan cares about. Hulk Hogan finally accepts the match with Austin at WrestleMania. Austin gets in his truck and drives out of the building (with Brooke still in the back). Hogan is going crazy as he limps after them.

RAW: We have a special satellite interview with Hulk Hogan & Family conducted by none other than Mean Gene. Midway through the interview, Stone Cold comes out and attacks Mean Gene with a steel chair. Austin says that he will show the world that he is the greatest to ever step in a WWE ring and he will do it through Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania.

RAW: Hulk Hogan comes out and is angry and demands that Stone Cold comes out so they can fight early. Stone Cold comes out on the ramp with the same steel chair he assaulted Mean Gene with earlier. Austin says the reason he is better than Hulk Hogan is because he had balls and brains, not steroids and fake tans. He teases going into the ring, but he toys long enough and Hogan goes after them and they brawl all around the arena until security breaks it up. Vince McMahon later makes the announcement that Hogan/Austin will be a No-Disqualification match.

RAW (last one before WrestleMania): Hulk Hogan is searching for Austin with a steel chair of his own. He eventually goes to the ring and calls out Stone Cold. Stone Cold comes out with a chair and they both pause before they both drop their chairs and fight like last week, only Hulk Hogan gains the decisive advantage and does the same thing he always does to get Stone Cold out of the ring and you see Stone Cold with a look of shock on his face. The segment ends with them staring each other down.

WrestleMania 23: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "The Immortal" Hulk Hogan- The impossible happens...Hogan loses to a Big Boot countered into a Stone Cold Stunner (ala WM 14 only way less athletic looking). Then you have the big handshake and hug celebration after this kind of match as Austin and Hogan pose and drink beer...then Austin gives Hogan the Stunner and grabs a mic and reminds him "Don't trust anybody!".

Basically, I think a semi-heel Stone Cold going back to the sick and twisted badass mentality would work better than boring shit with them both being respectful faces who handshake and sign a contract. Plus, I think it goes against everything Stone Cold Steve Austin was to do that. The tension between them at the Hall Of Fame last year was really interesting to watch and that could also be used for "inspiration" for Stone cold to fight Hogan.

what happened at the HOF ceremony?

First i'd work Hogan in for his yearly 2 month appearence. Give him his 10 minute entrances and cheers. Give him a match against Carlito or Big Show or someone at a PPV and have him win. Then the following Raw, have him do a promo, or interview where he talks about the past and about his rise to fame. Then he talks about the great wrestlers that have come through WWE, naming 6 or 7 and at the end of naming them, throw in " And you maybe could put Austin up there. " as a mild slight towards Austin, but not to obvious. Not making it seem like he ment to slight Austin in any way.

The next week at RAW, have Hogan slight Austin in a similar way. Maybe have him talk about the great fueds of WWE history. Talk about his fueds and The Rocks fueds and other great fueds and again make another semi-slighted comment towards Austin reguarding his McMahon fued. Maybe say somthing like " We didnt have to fued with are bosses to get over back then BROTHER! " Blah blah blah.

( These dont have to be every week, but constant enough to keep people thinking about it )

Then have Hogan on Piper's Pit at another PPV. Piper will ask some questions about what he thinks of guys like The Rock and Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels. Then he'll ask about Austin and Hogan will talk "kinda" good about Austin, but act is if Austin wasnt that great. Then we'll here Austins music hit. The crowd goes insane. No one expects Austin to show. Austin comes out doing his Austin thing. He takes the mic from Piper and starts asking Hogan why he's talking bad about Stone Cold. Hogan will act like he wasnt trying to talk bad about Austin ( In a real Hogan way, not Immortal Hogan Brother Brother crap ), by shruggin his shoulders and shaking his head no. Austin will continue to trash Hogan in the ring and talk shit about his legacy, because he honestly thinks Hogan has tried his hardest to slight him in every chance he gets. You'll faintly here Hogan say " You got it wrong brother " while Austin holds the mic. Austin will look at Hogan and say " So you're calling Stone Cold a liar" " You're saying Stone Cold dont know what he's talking about ". Hogan will ask if he can speak. Austin will stare for second and then ask the crowd " You think Stone Cold should give Hogan a chance to make peace? " . Crowd cheers, Hogan nods as he looks at the crowd. Austin will pause for a second as Hogan reaches for the mic. Austin puts the mic in Hogans hands and as Hogan raises the mic to speak... STUNNER! Crowd is stunned. Austin grabs the mic, gets on his hands and knees and gets in Hogans unconcious face and says " You'll make peace when STONE COLD SAYS SO! ". Cue music.
