Joe is over rated.

Seriously you guys, the more I watch RoH the more I am convinced RoH marks are just a pathedically blinding loyal to the idea of "Anti-WWE/underground" as the TNA marks. RoH is not that great, and quite frankly I am getting bored with all the RoH dick sucking that has been going on, bored and upset. I had high hopes for them, and they basically let me down. RoH is not the end all be all, Samoa Joe is quite possibly the single most over rated and over hyped wrestler in history, and I am done. I've said my peace, thank you and good night.

Joe IMO is awesome, he's been involved in many of my more favourite matches of recent years and offers something different to anyone else as no one his size works that style with as much agility.

The guy looks super stiff, yet I've never once heard of him hurting anyone seriously, he's a great worker for that alone, by working that style and still 'working' take notes Low Ki

WTF? Did they really have to go with 100? Need attention much?

I stand by my claim that ROH has the best and most consistent wrestling in America today.

Well, they just did their 100th show, so the theming fit.

Joe is as good as the hype.

That's a pretty solid list. 100 matches might have been overkill, but the top of the list is definitley solid.

I hype ROH because I feel that it is the best wrestling promotion in North America, hands down. Nothing else gets me as excited to watch wrestling as ROH does. I could give a fuck less about WWE and TNA. I watch those because it's free wrestling. ROH, however, gets me to pay hard earned money to see what they have to put out. Yes, they're a young organization, and yes, they have room for improvement, but they're far more on track than WWE or TNA are.

I have only seen a couple ROH shows, and I have enjoyed them, but I would love to see some of those Joe/Punk matches, as they seem to be the one's who are being the most hyped on the internet right now.

Samoa Joe is probly the most overrated person of all time

No

Even if he is overrated (which I dont think he is) there is no way he is the most overrated ever.

I think that roh is a little overrated. A little bit. Its still awesome, but not as amazing as some roh marks make it out to be. Part of the problem is a lack if unique styles. Most of the guys that work there are cruiserweights. They do have some guys that have unique styles like samoa Joe, lo-ki, and AmDrag. And these guys are usually the ones to be the post popular stars there. They would do good to get some heavyweights. And even though there are great matches with great storytelling and psychology, its usually in the main event. A lot of the undercard matches, ARE spotfests. They could do with a veteran to teach all the younger guys about these aspects.

I'm not bothered about RoH tbh, doesn't appeal to me, but I do respect what they try to be about though it isn't getting them anywhere.

Dunno about that. There fan base has expanded more and more since its debut show. Also, they have been doing a lot of work with NOAH lately. And for Big company in Japan like Noah to give a roh wrestler a clean win over one of their bigger stars like KENTA, is a testament to how far they've come.

RoH does put out consistently solid shows for they're style of wrestling. Not the flashiest, nor the most entertaining in terms of storylines and the like, but solid wrestling. They are good for what they do. It's a good alternative to WWE and TNA. I'm not a hardcore RoH mark or anything and I don't really keep up with it anymore(except for the results posted here on the forum) but it is what it's advertised to be. And from my limited exposure to RoH I have not been let down.

And hardcore RoH marks are just as bad as TNA marks, WWE marks, ECW marks, or mid-80s NWA marks. Of course they're going to think they're favorite thing is the best thing out there and everything else is shit in comparison. But that is the nature of the mark.

Yeah, except the hardcore mid 80-s NWA mark's are right. ;)

What I meant was they wont appeal to the larger audience. Yes their fanbase may have grown, but it wont appeal to the majority imo.

I had high hopes for them, and they basically let me down.

You need to elaborate more. What did you watch, what didn't you like about it, what do you feel they need to do to improve, etc.

I'm not sure if this was a consensus vote or one guy's list, can't really remember. Here are my picks of the better ones btw (I don't agree with all of them or the rankings necessarily but I'll just stick with the list for simplicity):

2. Samoa Joe vs. CM Punk- Joe vs. Punk II
3. Blood Generation vs. Do Fixer- Supercard of Honor
4. Low-Ki vs. KENTA- Final Battle 2005
6. Bryan Danielson vs. Roderick Strong- Vendetta
9. AJ Styles vs. Paul London- Night of the Grudges
10. Team ROH (Samoa Joe, BJ Whitmer, & Adam Pearce) vs. Team CZW (Chris Hero, Necro Butcher, & Super Dragon)- The 100th Show
12. Paul London vs. Bryan Danielson- Epic Encounter
15. Bryan Danielson vs. James Gibson- Glory By Honor IV

19. Homicide vs. Steve Corino- Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies
27. Roderick Strong vs. James Gibson- Unforgettable
32. Roderick Strong & Jack Evans vs. Jay & Mark Briscoe- Best In The World
34. Austin Aries vs. Alex Shelley- Manhattan Mayhem
39. Bryan Danielson vs. Jimmy Rave- 4th Anniversary Show
47. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong vs. AJ Styles & Matt Sydal- 4th Anniversary Show
48. Jack Evans vs. Samoa Joe vs. Delirious vs. Ebetaroh- The Final Showdown
58. AJ Styles & Matt Sydal vs. Austin Aries & Jack Evans- Supercard of Honor
73. Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. AJ Styles & Matt Sydal- The 100th Show
74. Austin Aries & Roderick Strong vs. CIMA & Naruki Doi- Better Than Our Best
77. CM Punk vs. Roderick Strong- Escape From New York
80. AJ Styles vs. Bryan Danielson- Dissension
92. Alex Shelley vs. Claudio Castagnoli- This Means War

I haven't seen a few of them for a while so my memory might be a bit hazy but there's something for everyone in there.
