Your Worst 5 PPVs of all time.

With all the talk of December To Dismember being one of the worst PPVs ever, let us see what TPWW readers consider their worst 5 PPVs of all time. I'm basing mine on factors such as match quality, star power, potential vs disappointment, build-up, so you won't see the likes of Heroes Of Wrestling on my list, because you had no right to be disappointed if you paid to watch that. On the other hand, if you purchase a WrestleMania you have every right to expect WWE to pull out all the stops, and if the card sucks then it's fair game for the list.

I'm surprised that no WCW pay-per-views made my list, actually. I keep hearing how bad Great American Bash 1991 was, but when I watched it years later I don't remember being THAT appalled. It may have just been shitty for WCW fans at the time because of the whole Ric Flair situation.

I remember in January when we were all loving the swerve at the end of NYR. And were saying how this is a great start to the year with the Rumble coming up and all, and that if WWE can keep this up it's gonna be a great year.

It seems they dropped the ball again. I'd say theres been enough shit this year to fill in a "top 5 worse PPV's of all time" list.

Survivor Series 1994 deserves a mention

At least Survivor Series 1994 had a hot opening match, a surprisingly good Casket match, and a (slightly) above average main event (Guts n Glory vs Million $ Team). The cards on my list don't feature a single match above mediocre status.

Again, Undertaker vs Underfaker was absymal, granted, but.... amazing Bret vs Owen Cage Match, and very good Diesel vs Razor I-C title match.

WCW StarrCade 2000 certainly ranks right up there with shitfests, but I am always of the opinion that WrestleMania IX is the cream de la cream of craptacular.

I LOVE WrestleMania IX. I know there isn't one technically good match on the card, but it was the first WrestleMania that I saw all the build-up to and watched as a fully-embroiled WWF fan. (I had seen WM8 but I wasn't really into wrestling so much at the time).
