Does anybody get the fight network?

Well I do and last night they had FMW wrestling on and I was all excited because there was an alternative on a monday night.

Weeeelll, I'm watching this shit and it was awful. They had two guys sitting in the "FMW Training Center" talking about FMW and dropping lousy jokes poking fun at each other. It was just so corny. So they cut to a match and it involved some guy wearing this rediculous outfit almost as bad as the Christmas monster. Flipped the channel came back a few minutes later and they were showing how to do a sleeper with two average looking women. So fake and terrible. Then they go to a women's match that was like 10 minutes long. I finally said fuck this I can't stand the english voice overs.

Is FMW actually good and this is just a crappy thing they do for American television? Or is it really that bad?

Those announcers were dubbed in for american video releases, along with the training sessions. They are absolutely horrible. Worst commentators ever. FMW did have some shit wrestlers. But there were a lot of great wrestlers and matches as well. Surprised the womens match wasn't good. They usually are.

I fell in love with womens wrestling thanks to FMW.

FMW no longer exists. There is WMF now. (Frontier Martial Arts and Wrestling Marvelous Future) WMF is some kind of extension of the dead FMW. It's all very complicated, you can look it up on OWW or the WIA. FMW was the originator of the death match. They wreslted a puro/lucha/extreme style mostly, but did have those shitty joke matches you were talking about... FMW used to sell out 40,000 seat stadiums, they were amazing. Sabu, Funk, Foley, Hayabusa, Mr. Pogo, and a bunch others were their main stars.

I'll also vouch for their womens wrestling, I saw an amazing electrified/exploding barbed wire match with two women, one of the greatest matches I have ever seen.

Pretty sure WMF is dead as well.
