Now, am I right that everybody likes Sabu? The torn-open bicep, the Krazy Glue, the level of hardcoreness, the finger to the sky, and the sweet pants and boots. Am I the only one who thinks it's unfair that he is being buried for sleeping backstage? I hate it, 'cause I mark out to Sabu...

Sabu can only put on a good match in a hardcore environment. His best friend is a chair, and it makes up about 75% of his repetoire.

That said, with the "new ECW" being fought without extreme rules, Sabu is wasted there.

Sabu is a spot monkey who is past his prime :(

Nah, sorry guys Sabu can deffinatly still go. He always has fucked up, but due to his size and style, its inevitable. Anyway, if Sabu is put in an environment where he can direct the match, or if he is given an opponent who needs no direction, the match would be good. I think he is a legend, I am a HUGE fan and I wish they would use him a lot better.

100% correct. And yet, Sabu is today better than most of the rest of the ECW roster.

Then give the monkey his fucking spots!
Why can't ECW have "Extreme Rules" for every match, anyway? What is so hard about doing that? And besides, dontcha think that would draw better ratings?

For sure, the WWE are monkeys tho'. They think having bad ratings is the way to go. It's the only explanation for their stupidity towards the product. I mean there are just soooo many things they could do correctly and they are obviously capable of it yet they manage to fuck it up anyway.

I'm confused, why is Sabu in hot water...is there something I missed?

They're going with the mentality that having an extreme rules match every once in awhile will make it have more impact than every single match.

They're failing miserably. That's a good logic for Raw/Smackdown. But for ECW? It was best known for not having as many restrictions and rules. Especially among the marks who think every ECW match should involve tables, thumbtacks, fire, new jack, scaffolds, cheese graters, kitchen sinks, and new jack.

Sabu still gets good reactions from a crowd, which means he's still entertaining, which means he's still good at what he does.

So, to me, he's not past his prime.

Cause he has more talent than the rest of the roster.

And they're hypocrits for even using that logic as ECW is meant to be an alternative to Raw and smackdown. When I heard about ECW starting up again i was hoping to see more hardcore matches, more crazy shit than i usually see, and now its just the same fucking thing as Raw and Smackdown only worse. Atleast if every match was extreme rules it would be a bit entertaining and they wouldn't need a storyline.

It's like they're trying to completely bury ECW with no Extreme matches, Paul Heyman being blamed by Vince for D2D, D2D itself, Sabu, RVD, and Tommy Dreamer being buried, and making Bobby Lashley be Champ, not to mention the fact that their shitting on the roster with misfits from the WWE. In fact, I've noticed that in the "This Day in Wrestling History", they play WWE/F and WCW tapes, but where's the ECW tapes?

If I replaced "Sabu" with either "Ric Flair," "Hulk Hogan," or "Roddy Piper," would you still stand by your statement?

Yes. I have a new perspective. If a wrestler can still entertain the fans, they can still wrestle. Wrestling is about entertainment, not so much workrate.

My only fear is Sabu is what Jeff Hardy will become.

Then I realize Jeff became Sabu for a bit but got over it.
