Anyone here play through the Mega Man X/Zero games?

Just got into Mega Man ZX and it made me reminisce about how dark the storylines were through the Mega Man X games. If anyone ever played Mega Man X6 can someone tell me what the deal was with Dr. Isoc?

I used to love X1. Had it on SNES. The collection is pretty cool too.

I completely lost interest after X3. It just didn't feel like, well, Mega Man anymore.
