I was just wondering, did Piper start doing the "I Love You"/Snuka's hand sign before, during or after he feuded with Snuka? Did he start doing it to mock him, or did he just do it for no apparent reason?

He started doing it in 1984 for sure. Which would be around the time he was feuding with Snuka. I think he basically started that on his first Pit segment with Snuka, and then there was the coconut attack, and from that point on, he was doing anything to taunt Snuka.

I saw him doing it by late 84 often.
