A question about those who constantly say how bad Raw is.

Do you watch every week for the entire 2 hours or just watch every now and then?

I ask because if you rarely watch and tune in every now and then, I can see how you say its boring, because you are out of the viewing loop.

It's like tuning into a show halfway through a season. It takes awhile to adjust to what you have missed.

Well for me I just got sick of nothing interesting happening in the entire two hours, its like these days we get the same matches every week and no drama attached to it, no reason to watch. I always watched raw all the way through when it was on and only recently have i realised just how shit it is/has been. As soon as i stopped watching in the hope that it would get better then i realised it was my time to stop, you'll realise soon enough to.

I usually watch it all the way through, and I don't miss it that much. Everything is usually the same over and over again. They had 3 hours, and instead of using it to get new people over, they just put the same people on TV again but for longer. IN fact, I think the only really "new" thing that happened that I liked was Edge actually stopping HHH from getting the sledge for once in his life.

I watch the entire show about 90% of the time, and generally I walk away with the same feeling: Didn't I already see that? And sometimes it's: Why the fuck am I seeing this? There are glimmers of hope in the pile of shit, but I mostly feel like I'm getting fucked.

I was watching the entire show, and saying it was boring and bad. Now I watch parts of most shows, and it's not like a TV season, unless they're making shows for ADHD folks now (Because WWE gives you a review every 5 minutes). The quality is just bad. I know when I see Kenny or Flair on the screen, it will suck ass. When I see Masters, it will suck ass. When I see Cryme Tyme, it will suck ass (I know I've said they were funny before, but after seeing more or less the same thing for a couple of months now, I'm no longer impressed). Like WWKD, there's nothing new. That makes you hard pressed to argue that you need to follow it regularly and completely to find it interesting. In fact, I'd say the opposite. The less you watch, the fresher it'd seem.

Most of the time I watch the entire show. Though I don't know how much longer I will be doing that. I honestly sit there and try and convince myself, "OK, this is the night they pull a big one. This is the night something cool is gonna happen and its gonna start to turn things around. This is the night..." and so on, but I feel I'm forcing my enthusiasim all too much in vain. Every once and a while, something cool does happen (not too often though) but its never quite what it used to be back in the day. Every week I become more and more disappointed with Raw.

I'll watch it all if I'm awake, but if I record it then I'll skip a lot of the BS. The last time IMO that Raw was reasonably entertaining was back during the last Roster draft. Because it was exciting & unpredictable.

I'll never forget Flair & Trips' faces when Kurt Angle came down during that draft.

Raw needs more surprising/shocking stuff to happen. Not just giving me ammunition to put in every Raw thread 'SPOILER - CENA WINS'.

Since October I've been going to Ju Jitsu on monday nights. I get to watch the first half hour and that's usually enough for me. When I get home though, the replay is shown so I catch the rest, and I usually fall asleep with a half hour left. So lately I haven't been watching everything, but if I try to watch everything, I get mad and bored. Nothing has changed in the last 3 months. The odd twist here and there but same shit over and over.

Lately I've been skipping parts I really don't give a fuck about, and that usually ends up being one or two segments and the entire main event (so I figure I'm down to about 1:15 or so including commercials, if that), as I'm not thrilled with the many combinations/matches involving DX, Orton and Edge.

I'd also like to point out that at the height of WWE's popularity, my friends and I would flip between WWF, WCW, and MNF or whatever else was on. We never had problems "getting it" even though we would often skip whole segments, or sometimes just tape them, watch 'em later and skip the boring parts. I'd also add that, for serial entertainment such as WWE (@ 50 weeks a year of live/new programming, the goal to sell PPVs), anything that you can't "get" by just tuning in is detremental to your product.

I watch as consistently as I can, which is most weeks and when I do watch I watch through all two hours. I usually post on the "Raw live" forum too.

Every week is confusing and headache inducing. Every week I see, the last time I said "Raw was good tonight" was several months ago.

Same thing as last week. You know, DX wins, Cena wins, more or less the same match repeated.

The Non Sequiter: Guy who's getting pushed suddenly gets dropped, run into the ground, or given the RVD treatment without smoking pot in front of the cops or telling Vince to piss off with Iraq. No rhyme or reason.

The Jobber to nowhere: Someone unimportant getting squashed, which doesn't actually build up anyone in a meaningful fashion.

DAMN! Similar to the first one, but a gimmick or joke that has run its course.
