You have to go with Perfect. When someone says I.C. Title to me, Perfect is the first person I think of all the time. Perfect really establshed that title in the late 80's early-early 90's and it was great on him. Maybe it's because he never won the World Title, but I think Perfect is definately the greatest I.C. champ of all-time.

Its a tough call.

Bret had some great matches with the belt, as did Hennig, Bulldog sold out Wembley going after the IC title, Rock and Austin did well with the belt. Then there are the older guys like Tito and Valentine that were great champs as well.

For me its a toss up between Savage and HBK. HBK gets some extra credit for doing the Ladder Matches with Hall, which really made the title seem important, but then Savage had great matches and also got to main event with the IC title against Hogan on many occasions. Then again, HBK also did that with Bret on a PPV, so its a tough call.

Can I call it a tie?

Of course Honytonk Man is really the 'greatest IC champ of all time', but I figured everyone already knew that, so I'd go with someone else.

Jeff Jarrett, "The greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time!"

Yeah, I know he stole that from the Honky Tonk Man, but the only time I've seen HTM wrestle is the 2001 Royal Rumble. And when you say IC Champ, i always think Jeff, then Owen, then The Rock.

I went for Mr Perfect because i feel Bret was a better Heavyweight Champ than IC champ, although Bret was class in both title reigns.

R.I.P Curt Henning :'(

This should've been made for one choice only.

Since it wasn't, it was a 3-way tie between Bret Hart, Razor Ramon, and Chris Benoit.

Honky Tonk Man was the first name that popped into my head before I even clicked this topic...

How did Kurt Angle get 7 votes? He held the IC title for an unimpressive 1 month, and he did nothing to build the credability of the title, unifying it with the Euro title built him up, not built the title up.

Shake Rattle n'Roll, The Honky Tonk Man. How could you not include him in your poll?
