Just finished watching it. My sister got it for me for Christmas. Definitly gone straight up into my top ten. That film was amazing and really powerful. The actors all did a terrific job.
I found it to be totally unpredictable through-out, and within minutes I was hooked into it.
What do you guys think of it?

Two thumbs up, way up. :y: :y:
'Twas a good movie to be sure, but I felt that Haggis' portrayal of racial crashes was not entirely realistic and even a bit forced at times; not surprising coming from a white male director/writer though.
People always talk this movie up so much and I heard so many great things about it I was expecting Gone with the Wind type of epic storytelling, so in my case, it might be the situation of expecting too much and getting too little.
A good film, to be sure though.

Are we talking about the Paul Haggis film or the David Cronenberg film?

It's good but like mentioned a lot of the stuff just felt forced.
I liked it a lot, I wouldn't call it a classic but I'd watch it over again definitely

I'd never heard of it. My sister got if for me for Christmas and said that she thought it was amazing and that she's sure I'll like it.
She was right. :D
