The One

By the way, Blitz is not invited to join this contest on the grounds that he should be dead soon and therefore his death would give him an unfair advantage in not watching anything...

Pffft, millions of people are already doing this so it's no big deal.

The One
01-03-2007, 02:18 AM
Is that your way of saying you care to join this contest?

M-A-G
01-03-2007, 02:18 AM
No, I'm too busy kicking ass on Halo 2 on X Box live...

The One

Shouldn't that make NOT watching wrestling easier?

I don't have Sky anymore, and I'm pretty sure I could live without watching the clips on WWE.com. So I'm sure to win.

Count me in.

Plus it's easier to go without watching wrestling than it is masturbating.

Mister Sinister

Okay, an question, I like to ask...

Does this include, any wrestling related, such a wrestling video games, or just in related to real wrestling?

Such as playing SVR 2007, DOR 2, any Wrestling Video Game?

The One
01-03-2007, 02:58 AM
I am going to permit video games for now. If this contest goes into being months long, I may need to change that ruling. However for the moment being, video game playing is allowed.

TOVO, I've just realised this means I cannot watch the PCS segments on youtube. I'd like your thoughts on this?

The lose of Kevin Nash in anyone's life is incalcuble. While I have a deep sense of sympathy with you when it comes to missing out on some of television's finest work, you must realise that no one on this planet could possibly be more disappointed with this situation than I. So buck up my good friend, I plan on riding this out and winning.

As for whoever brought up YouTube, remember, one must push the play button before it begins to show, therefore any YouTube viewing is an unacceptable dismissal from the contest.

Destor
01-03-2007, 01:33 PM

I do believe you are correct Mr. Destor.

CSL
01-03-2007, 01:50 PM
Yeah, I'm out. Might of accidently watched a PCS video on youtube. And it's not like I can lie and not admit it considering I posted it in the fuckin' Nash thread.

But come on One, how can you do this to yourself? It's like against the religion or something. I personally believe that PCS videos should be allowed because, like breathing, all things Kevin Nash related are essential to continue what we call life :y:

The One
01-03-2007, 02:10 PM
I am considering this lack of Nash/PCS to be like sex. If you bow out at the first sign of an ending, you will never truly appreciate how good the climax and rush of sensation when you are free to do so has been built up. I encourage you to continue to post the PCS videos in the thread, because when I am finished and have won this contest, I plan on hitting a Nash Spree the likes of which has never been seen before. But like I said, I'm in this for the long haul and plan on winning.

To be fair, only one of the PCS videos include a ring, and if we avoid that one - what we are essentially watching is a comedy show starring some wrestlers.

I mean, say you watch Gremlins 2 right, forgetting that Hogan was in it, how gutted would you be? You have broken the contest rules unwittingly. I think we should view the PCS clips as Gremlins 2, NOT wrestling.

addy presents a strong argument. But by that standard any promo would be ok and promos are an essential part of wrestling...

The One
01-03-2007, 02:19 PM
It was aired on a wrestling program. It's out! How on god's green earth did I become the guy saying you can't watch Nash videos?

And CCm you're not in because I am still banking on Blitz to kill himself, but I am hoping he kills you right before offing himself. Therefore via the Bob Backlund death ruling, you can not partake in this contest. Plus, I suspect you to be a terrorist, and I support America.

No, no, any segments done in a ring - NOT ALLOWED. Any segments done in the back of an arena - NOT ALLOWED. The PCS segments give you the impression that they aren't done in the arena, but are recorded before the shows at the KEVIN NASH SOUNDSTAGE (TM). I say ALLOWED to that.

This really is a contest for people who still watch, make a better argument and I will put you in.

Also, NerF brings up a good point, commercials are ok. If you seek them out, it is forbidden, but we can not control what ads are aired during other TV shows. Same goes for flipping through the stations, but if you pause to watch any of it before hitting the next button, you're out.

I'm out. Lasted almost a month and a half. Lost by accident. I was popping in old VHS tapes (just to see what was on them) when I came across one of RAW from 1996. I watched it or a half hour before I remembered I was in this contest. :( Well it was a hell of a streak...

NOW SOMEONE FIND ME ALL THE TNA NASH MOMENTS I'VE MISSED!

 What a copout.

Anybody Thrilla
02-15-2007, 02:56 PM
Copout from what? Were we arguing? I just thought it was odd that a bunch of people on an wrestling board decided to have a contest to see who could stop watching wrestling. Then I said I thought the show was decent. Then you decided that it wasn't decent, and I thought that may not be the most fair assessment since YOU HAVEN'T ACTUALLY BEEN WATCHING. Then you insulted my intelligence for stating an opinion, based on pretty much nothing at all, and I told you that I didn't see the relevance in discussing something that doesn't interest you, and now I'm 'copping out'.

All right, guy. You're so smart, you don't even need logic to belittle people. Real cool, man.

Kane Knight
02-15-2007, 04:01 PM
On the whole logic thing, I don't particularly have to stick my hand in a puddle to know it's wet. I know "yeah, whatever," But really, it's true. I'm interested enough in the product you claim I don't like to keep looking, but not enough to keep watching when I can plainly see I'm getting more of the same. I think it's idiotic, not to mention completely illogical to assert that you need to have actually spent the 5+ hours a week watching to know whether or not you would have enjoyed it.

But, I mean, Hey, I'm the illogical one for not watching programming I can see won't entertain me, I guess.

Short list of examples:

Is Lashley still champ?
Is Cena still champ?
Is Batista still champ?
Do we still have the Boogeyman, the Undertaker, and the Miz on TV?
Do we have Michaels and Cena as tag champs on Raw?
Is there an actual Women's competition?
Is Masters still around?
Do we have Vampires and Wild beasts on ECW?
Is Punk featured? All these are elements of disinterest to me. A lot of them are heavily featured. I don't know why I'd have to watch a series of pissbreak segments to decide it wasn't good.

Yep. My assessment was so unfair.

Anybody Thrilla
02-15-2007, 04:19 PM
It's getting better, and you wouldn't know that just from reading spoilers.
