Seriously its just shit and boring and repetitive, same bloody jokes every week and it gets praised as the greatest thing ever.

Come on Brits you know what I'm talkin about here:rant:

I agree, the first series was decent as it was all new then, even the second series was ok. But now they have just turned it into a farce, I don't blame Lucas and Wialliams for doing it, they've been in the comedy game for a while now and deserve their sucess, just wish they'd try some newer stuff instead of just re-hashing.

Series 2: Racist women throws up alot
Series 3: Old women pisses herself alot

Meh!

Oh don't get me even started on that shite, seriously, it's like taking a bad idea and then copying it, badly.

I think LB is also made worse by the fact that Matt Lucas is quite probably the most hideous man in history to look at

I think Ricky Gervais summed it up quite well on Extra's. Cant stand either Little Britain or Catherine Tate.

This is the most accurate thread ever on TPWW.

LB is shit.

I found it funny when I first watched it but I agree that it's the same jokes and scenarios over again.

I wonder how many people think the Catherine Tate show is funny just because it is a sketch show. :$

Little Britain: see packt up

Did he say something in particular or was it just a throwaway line? Haven't bothered to watch Extras S2

The whole thing is built around that one fucking catchphrase (you know the one) which just so completely perfectly reminds me of when Bart becomes the I Didn't Do It Boy on Krusty's TV show. I'm just waiting for the novelty to suddenly die.

I think the problem here is Southerners to be quite honest, I don't think their humour is anywhere near as clever or funny as Northern humour. Its probably also Southerners who insist on watching Little Britain and giving it awards it doesn't deserve etc.

If anyone contends this they're a Southerner no doubt.

Which region of humour does Bill Bailey count as? :o

That man is excellent.

He's that extreme-rarity we in Britain call a "funny Southerner"

He basically said he hates shows that are built around catchphrases, have shoddy merchandise made of it and is basically the same thing every week, dispite his show on Extra's being exactly that.

Seeing as he is a so called "Dr", you would think he would widen his research from his own country.

I think the show is shite, but Lucas and Walliams are fucking hilarious together when they are allowed to just bant it up.

David Walliams is a weirdo, I'd probably clock him if I met him just because of the way he seems to look at people
