The Wrestling Observer is reporting that a decision hasn't been officially made regarding Rob Conway. The likely scenario at this point is that he will be heading to Smackdown to reform La Resistance with Sylvan. We will follow this situation as it develops.
I think it will be a good idea for both the tag division and Conway/Sylvan who have been doing nothing other than jobbing.

I like it, as it gives both of them something to do.

Instead of doing nothing but jobbing they could've been, I don't know, pushed?
Really should have put Sylvan on RAW since it has the strongest tag division.

But improving SmackDown!'s poor division would be a better move.
I think they should just drop the SmackDown! tag division. Really nothing is going on there. They have Brian and Kendrik, James/Stevens, and... ???
RAW has Cryme Tyme, Cade/Murdoch, DX, RKO, WGTT. Combing the two would be great for tag team wrestling I think. I really wouldn't mind them moving to SmackDown!, but at this point I think there should be only one tag title.

I think they should just drop the roster split and unify the belts.
well it was pretty dumb having vince come outand fire him just for him to show up on smackdown a little while later, coach should have just kicked him off raw.

Well Vince did put emphasis on the fact that he was firing him from Raw not WWE.

I'd love to see them challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship at the Royal Rumble. I mean, the event is in San Antonio. Put emphasis on the fact that Paul London and Brian Kendrick were trained there, and the fans will be even more rabid to see the Frenchies defeated.
I would have London & Kendrick retain. Aren't they something like the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of all-time now? Don't ruin that. La Resistance do the job, after Paul London pins Sylvan. Rob Conway gets angry that he hasn't won a fourth Tag Team Championship, so he attacks Sylvan, setting up a match between the two at No Way Out.
Don't have Rob Conway go back to the "Model of Excellence" character, however. Have him done long pants, and go back to being the "Iron Man" he played in OVW. The guy used to be very similar to Shawn Michaels, apparently. Have him channel that character, maybe even going as far as calling Sylvan the "Marty Jannetty" to his "Shawn Michaels". If the WWE ends up re-signing Marty Jannetty, they might as well have him appear in Sylvan's corner for this match. Have Conway go over with a Flying Elbow.
What does Conway do next? He challenges Chris Benoit for the WWE United States Championship. The match I am most looking forward to in Conway's potential career is Conway vs. Benoit, and if the WWE can put it on WrestleMania, then I will orgasm.
As for what happens with Paul London & Brian Kendrick: they defend the WWE Tag Team Championship against William Regal & Dave Taylor at No Way Out (or if the WWE has nothing for the two, King Booker & Finlay), and then they head into a TLC Match at WrestleMania, pitting them against the World's Greatest Tag Team Champions (Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin), The Hardys and MNM in a unification match. London & Kendrick retain the WWE Tag Team Championship and win their first World Tag Team Championship in this match.
Sylvan can go over to ECW, and team with Rene Dupree and feud with The Full Blooded Italians, or something. Dupree and Grenier are still quite young (although Sylvan is approaching his prime), but they could use a few more years in tag teams. I just don't think Conway/Grenier is the best route to go, as Conway could be doing so much more.

London n Kendrick the WWE "cruiserweight" tag team champions!
They should just let Rob/Sylvan beat them at the Rumble so London and Kendrick can finally break up and go give Helms some competition for his strap.:naughty:

Meh. He's not bad in the ring. I'm not against La Resistance reforming. I don't watch Smackdown all the time, but I'd still see him on Smackdown more than I saw him on Raw (Well you can't get any worse than like 3 times a year).

La Resistance is boring, what a great gimmick, two guys who speak French, brilliant!

Actually, only one can speak french. Conway is a French sympathiser. Even when it was Renee and Sylvain, it wasn't anything special. I just liked the idea of a real tag team at the time.

I still don't see why Conway had to put on final massive JOB before getting "fired" from RAW. I would have marked out at least a little bit if he just spontaneously showed up for Smackdown, with no prior hints or mentions of it...just popped up outta nowhere, having jumped brands with little notice. Could have been a good way to start fresh...or at least, fresher than usual.
But nah, let's finish off his already bleeding and seizuring credibility.

At least he's on the 'wrestling' brand now. They should keep him off TV for a few weeks and bring him back with a fresh attitude, maybe cut a promo about being held down on Raw. He would be a good addition to the mid card.
At least he isn't going to ECW, where he'd probably only appear in dark matches and occasionally be on the broadcast to job to Balls or Davairi.

Just repackage Conway, send him to Smackdown as a mid-card heel.
No stupid, boring washed up tag team from 2003.

I like how they're improving the tag division by... putting together the teams they took apart back when they were killing the tag division.
You would have thought that logic would tell them not to take a tag team apart after a few months, but hey. It's the Double Double E.

I think they could safely put the United States Championship on Rob Conway. Just don't bring him in as the egomaniac. Have him play a technical mastermind. It would work, I tells ya.

If you want La Resistance back, just stick Rene Dupree with Sylvan on SmackDown!. Both guys arguably need the team. Plus Dupree is good friends with Paul London & Brian Kendrick, isn't he? I'm sure that would bump up all three guys motivation to have a good match.

i'd say you were a lot like Rob Conway in fact. Not a lot of people give a shit about him, and if they did, they'd hate his guts anyway.

It makes more sense for Rene Dupre and Sylvain Grenier to reform La Resistance (seeing as they are both genuine French Canadians, plus they are the original team). But then, I don't think they should reform that crappy team in the first place. The La Resistance reign to me was one of the most dismal periods for the tag team division ever. PLEASE do not spoil the recent resurgance of tag team wrestling by throwing La Resistance into the mix.
Who's next? Lance Storm and William Regal reforming? Jindrak and Cade? Men on a Mission? Focus on creating new and entertaining teams, not rehashing old angles for the third time that sucked the first time around.

Oh and I hear Henry Godwinn will be rejoining the main roster in a tag team with Ray Gordy. I just pray that Gordy is half decent, because Godwinn sucked 15 years ago, and that was BEFORE a broken neck and an 8 year layoff.

Ray Gordy is pretty talented, from all accounts. :y:
I guess he will be the face who gets isolated, who tags in Henry, who kicks the asses of the heels, and looks so much better as a result. Of course, Ray Gordy will then turn heel, beat up Henry, and the two will feud. Afterwards, Gordy will not be in a position any better than if he had entered the company as a cruiserweight. :n:

Well, Sylvain Grenier and Rob Conway were the most successful of the three La Resistance incarnations (Dupree and Conway being the least, Dupree and Grenier falling the middle), so sticking them back together makes sense in a weird sort of way. I agree, though, Dupree and Grenier make the most sense, as both guys are doing nothing at the present time.
I would love to see Jamie Noble and Jimmy Wang Yang form a tag team. Have them form a "cowboy" union to feud with Tatanka. Bring in someone who "understands" Tatanka's pain. Maybe even make it just a guy called up from OVW/DSW for the angle, as a student of Tatanka (they don't need to be Native American).
The Full Blooded Italians and Elijah Burke Productions should head back over to SmackDown!. With Trinity, Jillian Hall and Kristal Marshall on SmackDown!, the Women's Division is already looking as strong as RAW's. Bring in Ryan O'Reilly and Derrick Neikirk as a heel tandem. Of course there are The Gymini to serve as the "EVIL TWIN~!" team. If you throw in Dupree/Grenier, you have three face teams and six heel teams.

Actually, it'd be really cool if his ally wasn't Native American. Sets up a screwjob later on when the overcompensating white boy goes too far.
