Some notes from watching that video:

1) That Despotovski winner in the semi final against Adelaide City brings back memories.

2) Vas Kalogeracos :lol: cunt always killed it against us then we signed him and he sat on the bench! :lol:

3) Where the fuck have the crowds gone?! :nono:

4) Boutsianis the cunt...absolute dog of a person but fuck what a free kick specialist.

5) Fucking Harnwell with that header at Bob Jane for the 1-1 (around the 4:45 minute mark in that video. That day was pisspouring down but over 12,000 rocked up, had it been a sunny day we would have gotten 15,000+. What a game, Boutsi with the opener then Harnwell with that header. Despotovski copped absolute hell that day!

6) One of my top 3 favourite games EVER with South in the NSL was the Wednesday night 2-1 win over Perth in 1998/99. 1st vs 2nd, midweek fixture, 11,000 crammed into BJS, Perth go 0-1 up and in the second half we score two goals in a minute. ABSOLUTE CHAOS when the goals went in.

By the way a mate of mine is compiling a list of DVDs of South highlights from the early 80s right through to the last few years of the NSL. Once I get it I can edit it all together and make a "best of" highlights package of games between Glory and Hellas and fire it your way. It'll bring back some memories :'(

Well we have Western QBE back as a major sponser and as far as anyone knows the club has been sold, but the new owner won't touch it until after the end of this season, so the FFA can continue to fuck it up for a few more weeks yet - lest face it we can't go any lower.

Bobby the serb's last game this Sunday against Newcastle, so hopefully the fans come and support him and give him a decent send off - and the old bastard can smash a few into Newcastles net and send them on their way.

Those last 2 goals are awol (Beckham and Giggs), but fucking hell Greece gave Beckham around 10 free kicks just outside the area that game, he fucked every one of them up except the one right at the end in injury time :mad: :roll:.
