Iron Man Match at Final Resolution. Gonna be the match of the year already you think? Looking forward to it. Dunno I bet it ends in a draw.

Yeh, I think this is the good one and they've probably been underwhelming on purpose with the first two.
....I hope anyway.
i loved that street fight they had last week with the fans following.

I think we should and could see a lot of falls in this match. I mean, I'm not a wrestler, but I think that if I were in a multi-fall match, as soon as I was put in a submission hold by a submission specialist, I'd tap out, to avoid injury and to prevent being taken down for another fall.
That point isn't brought up nearly enough in matches, and if I think we should see Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle constantly get a lot of falls, mainly because the other taps out as soon as the Clutch/Angle Lock is applied.
Here's how I would like to see the match go:
-Joe is placed in the Ankle Lock, and Angle anchors it, so Joe gives up.
-Angle does so again, and once more, Joe taps out before the move can do any damage.
-Angle gets a steel chair, and cracks it over Joe's head, then drives it into Joe's ankle. This gives Joe a disqualification fall, but Angle places Joe in the Ankle Lock, and he is too out of it to tap out, so Angle gets the submission victory, but he has also done some damage to the ankle.
-Joe hobbles around on one leg for the rest of the match, as the score is 3-1. Joe mounts a comeback, and he puts Kurt Angle in the Clutch, and Angle taps out, the score is now 3-2.
-Joe refuses to break his choke, and Angle gets a disqualification fall, but he is choked out, and Joe pins him for an easy three-count.
-Joe then places him on the top rope, and gives him a Muscle Buster. That's another fall for Joe, evening the score. Angle makes a comeback, and goes after the leg, and Joe hangs on, not wanting to give Angle his tie-breaking fifth fall with so little to go on the time limit (maybe have a minute left).
-Joe hangs on, and we get a sudden death continuance. Angle goes right back to the Ankle Lock, but Joe gets to the ropes. Joe then mounts a comeback, and places Angle in the Clutch, and it looks like Angle is out, but he stays in the bout, and hits Joe with an Angle Slam for a two count. He then goes right back to the Ankle Lock, and Joe will not tap out, and he eventually passes out, and Angle wins the match 5-4.

Joe is going over, or TNA is seriously as fucked up as WWE

I used to be of that mind, and I was pretty pissed off when Angle won the first match, but I'd love to see Christian Cage vs. Kurt Angle for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at the February PPV.
Joe winning would be better for the company, but I'd still like to see Angle get a title shot somehow.

I absoultly hate this feud. This is a perfect example of why Vince Russo is the worst booker ever.
The matches have been good though, and I'm sure this Iron man match will be good to.

Angle can get a title shot...after Joe wins the belt which is owed to him

Whoever goes over is just going over to win the title to drop it to the other.

I actually think this has been one of the better booked fueds lately.
And i DO think they held off on the first two matches.

This is opinon but I think it is horrible.
They have done like 9 months of booking in 3 months. It's too fast there is no way Angle should not be a heel yet. There was that like 2 or 3 week period where you had no idea who the face and the hell were. The acting and and the wrestling have been real good, but I still hate it.
But hell if people like it and think TNA is doing is good job with it then thats great :y:

I think the "who is the face and heel" thing isn't exclusive to the fued. Its TNA in general. The fans mark so hard for every living creature that comes through that tunnel that its hard to say whos the face. They love Joe, rightfully so, and they love Angle for being the new acquisition.
Its really thanks to the fans, but TNA also didnt book it clearly, which they don't seem to do anyways.
They don't have the traditional face/heel thing going on, and in a lot of cases I think that hurts the show. Perhaps they were just focusing on booking it as a clash that sells itself without clear lines of good and bad. Like Austin Rock in 2001, or Shawn/Bret and Warrior/Hogan. Nonetheless I think the way they booked it could have been better but its the best fued going so whatever.
As for booking 9 months of stuff into 3 months, isn't that how they do it these days? I mean, would people really go for Joe/Angle for 9 months? I don't think they could sustain that, nor could they afford to not use the fued while it was hot. I do think they struggle in making it personal, i mean out of nowhere it was just like "this is personal" but it never really got there on screen besides what they threw at viewers. Of course the TNA fans ate it up with a smile.

Also to be noted, wasn't Joe the title stealing, out-of-line rookie who Kurt Angle showed up in a blaze of Red White and Blue glory to knock some sense into? As a clean, super-face, knight in shining armor?
Now all of a sudden Angle is breaking girls ankles and bitching and Joe is the nice guy? Its all very messy I say, but like I said..fuck it. The matches are good and the fued is watchable. Thats more than most other fueds in the business can say.

TNA dropped the ball on this. Now see I really don't have that much of a problem with 1st and 2nd match I can deal with what they did there. Having the 3rd match this qucikly after the 2nd is wrong. I seriously think it's not that hard to actually make people wait for the 3rd match. It's just gone way too fast, and could make so much money if they waited.
Like I said though if people like the feud then whatever I'm idiot.

You're not an idiot. I'm just saying that if its better than the rest, I suppose its the best. Doesn't mean its flawless. You are right about those things. The 3rd rematch being 2 monhts after the first one is crap. It also makes it not as exciting. The Shawn/Bret rematch had so much hype and took over a year to happen.

TNA's writing and booking is gawd-awful and while it hasn't ruined Joe-Angle it has diminished it I think.
I think they should have gone off seperate ways after the 2nd match and not had this third one until there was a little more meaning to it. Not only a rubber match but make it for the belt too. Best case scenario is the belt is on Angle and then Joe goes over. Honestly though, I don't think Angle going over Joe is gonna kill TNA or anything...having Angle, Joe, Cage, Sting, any of them going over anybody else in the title picture is better for the company than having Jarrett mow down everyone.

I get what you're going for but I can't stand matches where one guy sells a bad leg throughout the whole thing. I couldn't imagine an iron man match where one guy has a bad leg throughout most of it.

Should be a great match, regardless of who's face/heel, selling injuries or titles on the line.

Is it an hour then? Or a half-iron man match?

A half hour. Which sucks, they're more than qualified to do the 1 hour Iron Man Match.

Hard to call it an Iron Man match if it's just 30 minutes. Lots of matches on PPV have gone close to 30 minutes if not exactly or longer.

Comedy. All this for a match in which they've probably gone longer in a one fall to a finish.

Yea, is this a PPV match or a Raw match. Why even bother with an Iron Man Match at a ppv if its going to be shorter than lots of PPV matches.
Rarely do mainstream (WWE, TNA) matches go 30 minutes though.
Jeritron

At ppvs? I'm not exactly sure but I'd think that at least one match per ppv goes 30 minutes.
You would be wrong in thinking this.
