View Full Version : WWE Looking To Form A "New" Hart Foundation

WWE is looking to form a faction which would include Harry Smith, Nattie Neidhart, T.J. Wilson and possibly Teddy Hart. This group would be called The New Hart Foundation. A lot of this depends on Teddy Hart signing with WWE because he is under contract to MTV's Wrestle Society X promotion until February. Also, oftentimes he is his own worst enemy when it comes to promotions who book him.

In regards to how they are all related, T.J. Wilson is a long time friend of the Harts as he'd always hang out at their house and he's considered to be family. Wilson signed a developmental contract with WWE a few months ago. After he fulfills his indy obligations, he will report to Deep South Wrestling. He is currently in a relationship with Nattie Neidhart, who is also under contract to WWE. Nattie is of course the daughter of Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart. Jim Neidhart was married to Bret Hart's sister Ellie, but apparently, they are now divorced. Also, it's pretty much a lock that Nattie will be called up to WWE sometime in 2007 one way or another.

After appearing on several house shows during the summer, Harry Smith has been sitting on the sidelines since September because WWE has no idea as to what do with him. Also, he's not appearing on OVW or DSW shows either.

Teddy Hart is a third generation member of the Hart wrestling family. His mother is Georgia Hart, who is another one of Bret's sisters. In 1998, Hart became the youngest person ever signed to a WWE developmental contract, but he was subsequently released a shortwhile later due to "attitude" problems.

In other news, Mike DiBiase, the son of wrestling legend Ted DiBiase, is reportedly dating Bret Hart's daughter Jade. Jade is 23 years old and not involved with wrestling. Although, you could see her sitting with the Hart relatives at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony last year for Bret Hart's induction.

IF this is true, wait for the many 'all is forgiven Vince' comments.

As far as I'm concerned - meh.

Yeh pretty mehish.

TJ Wilson and Teddy Hart won't amount to much.

Harry will probably be IC Champion at best.

Teddy Hart already has a worse backstage rep than Scott Hall, and he's like, half of the Lone Wolf's age. If he's rehired, he could possibly beat Scott's record of 2 months for shortest tenure with WWE before royally fucking up.

And I agree with previous sentiments that these nobodies would not be taken seriously as "the NEW Hart Foundation."

Now, if they used Chris Benoit or Lance Storm (or even possibly Bret Hart himself) to help promote and manage this new stable, we might be in business.

even bret hart wont watch this. I can see a dx feud, screw job endings, vince getting punched in a dressing room. Wrestling makes a mockery of its self on more time.

Then why the fuck are you telling us? If you cant be bothered with WWE and dont care, you're obviously doing a great job of disguising this disgust, by informing us that you still dont care. Thanks for the reminder, now go shut the fuck up somewhere.

Being a big Hart Foundation mark myself, I would love for something like this to happen ... in theory.

But in practice, as most of you in this thread have already said, it just wouldn't work. The faction would meander around the lower mid-card for a while before fizzling out completely. I think also that, even though having someone like Benoit or Lance Storm (I sincerely doubt Bret would do it) may lend it some credibility, I fear it wouldn't be enough.

That's what I think anyway.

Stop overreacting. I mainly was referring to raw when i said WWE, and ECW, btw, but the point is true. Don't believe me? Watch raw from last monday again.

Sascha, the Harts will always be willing, as long as they're there. Wrestling is like religion. Very few practicioners have any sense whatsoever. And they will rarely learn from the follies of their friends and family.

They have no idea what to do with Harry Smith? But they can find f*ckloads of ways to get Maria and Kristal and Ashely on TV and get indy workers to play celebrities and book their WWE Champion in a match months in advance against a non-worker borderline celeb? Here's an idea: Promote him as the son of one of your most over and recognized stars who was involved in one of the biggest wrestling families in history! JUST A THOUGHT!

Nobodies? What do you expact Everyone is a "nobody" until they make it to the big time. Bret Hart was once a nobody. But they already have that background, and that link to the greatest wrestling family of all time. They are from CALGARY, and they all rule. They'll be a breath of fresh air.

I'd love it. Have Teddy spit and piss all over HBK.

Totally NOT the way to book him otherwise he'll just live in the shadow of his father. I'm guessing the problem is mainly, that he's English. And everyone knows Brit wrestlers never get over, or even pushed to any great extent.

One of them could feud with K-Fed.

They'd go totally unused for the next month or so, then get released.

Hey, I wouldn't put it past Vince to bring at least Earl in for a one-off screw job.

Hell, they'll probably turn it into a storyline where he begins to screw the Harts leading up to Survivor Series. At the PPV, it'll be the Hart Foundation vs. DX, Earl screws everyone on the Harts except, let's say Teddy, who then pulls four Finger Pokes of Doom and joins DX.

I don't like the idea. Aside from the fact that I think Teddy is a prick and not half as talented as some people make him out to be, and only about a hundredth as talented as he makes himself out to be...sorry that was a random little Teddy rant...anyway I just don't like the idea. It's always terrible anytime theyt rehash groups. And while I am kind of excited to see Harry get on TV, he certainly is not his dad...

This is the article which says that Survivor Series has been moved to Miami. Don't know how accurate it is, but Slam! usually do their research before posting any news. One of the most reliable sites out there.
