SD Cards

I have a Panasonic MP3 player, which uses SD cards for storage, but as it's only 64MB,I have to mega-compress the music to get a decent amount on there. So I am on the lookout for a higher capacity card. I've been told a computer store in town is selling them cheaper than Panasonic... so are all SD cards the same or does it have to be a Panasonic card?
