Wait a second, who's number 30 in all this? According to those numbers, I'm only counting 29.

Mystery entrant maybe?

Xero

It's a tentative list.

The 30th (out of those) was supposed to be Triple H. It'll probably be filled by a jobber now.

Volchok

Maybe a returning Chris Jericho... :shifty:

Why do I have a sinking feeling Cena's going to be the main event AGAIN?

Volchok
01-14-2007, 07:13 PM
Baby Jesus will cry if that happens again.

Monty Brown?

El Fangel

I have it narrowed down to 2 from each

Edge/Orton
Benoit/Kane
Punk/Holly

Edge: It makes sense that he would win it in HHH absense, he has been feuding with Cena since this time last year.

Orton: A pretty big heel, while under-experienced, with the list of other possible heel contenders, he seems the most obvious under Edge

Benoit: It would make sense if he won it, as he had a rather short title reign, and also it would be a good tribute to Eddie, and such. and that he more then anyone of the roster (except the next person) deserves another WT reign.

Kane: He has been in the shadows far too long, deserves his moment, and has always been a dominant force in the rumbles.

CM Punk: No other ECW-er makes sense at all.

Holly: He defeated Punk, and is a heel, makes sense that WWE has plans for him.

JR: BAHGAWD THA POUNCE! THA POUUNNCCEEE!!!

Hey, you think Monty's first feud will be with Matt Striker?

...PERIOD!

Yeah, ECW isn't going to win this unless they're doing something seriously over the top for the main event, like a unification match.

Undertaker's gonna win this. Or Orton.

El Fangel
01-14-2007, 07:25 PM
Definatly, Its likely to be one of the four I listed above from SM! or RAW. Im not trying to be a dick, but I doubt that anyone besides the ones I listed will win, I am a mark for alot of others, but seeing them win the rumble is unlikely.

Come on Goldust, please let it be Goldust!

TerranRich

Because it's the sensible thing, Vito.

WWE + Sensibility = Universe Imploding

Because that's not sensible. ECW doesn't have the star power to allow 10 wrestlers in the royal rumble, and they left room for a mystery entry.

Why Super Crazy and Eugene? Why not Nitro?

KingofOldSchool
01-14-2007, 07:53 PM
Or Kenny Dykstra?

El Fangel
01-14-2007, 07:58 PM
OMG, I just thought of the best match WWE will come up with.

Hogan vs Cena

Who would job.

KingofOldSchool
01-14-2007, 08:04 PM
Cena, of course.

See Cena is professional, unlike the Huckster.

El Fangel
01-14-2007, 08:06 PM
Cena, of course.

See Cena is UNprofessional, like the old fucker.

KingofOldSchool
01-14-2007, 08:14 PM
Ummmmm Cena is professional, he does as he is told and never complains about jobbing.

Now tell me why you think he is unprofessional?

Just because he's boring, doesn't make him unprofessional.

Jeritron

Nitro and Kenny will be in there before Viscera and Eugene, at least I would think.

McLegend

Volchok
01-14-2007, 08:18 PM
When has Cena jobbed?

McLegend
01-14-2007, 08:19 PM
Well he did just job to Kfed

Schoenauer
01-14-2007, 08:20 PM
Hogan CAN take Trips' place, under his name as well. Just have him enter the RR under Hollywood Hulk Hogan, but have everyone call him Triple H.

McLegend
01-14-2007, 08:20 PM
He also jobbed to Orlando Jordan 3 days before WM.

Also Jobbed to Edge, and RVD.

Volchok
01-14-2007, 08:41 PM
By job I mean totally get destroyed... Not actully kick ass and then have someone fuck you over to lose...

Volchok
01-14-2007, 08:42 PM
Example: CM Punk jobbed to Holly this past week on ECW, Cena didnt really lose clean to any of the above stated cept for Edge, Which Cena just beat everyone in the Elimination Chamber to win that, and it still took 2 spears to beat him.

El Fangel
01-14-2007, 08:44 PM
IMO if Cena had an professsionalism he would let the guys know that he is being booed which isn't right for a face.

St. Jimmy
01-14-2007, 08:46 PM
Seriously, Monty would be AWESOME if he won. I could imagine it. Brown vs. Cena for the WWE title at mania?

Wait. I'm sorry. I think I have misused a word. Awesome means ABSOLUTE SHIT PRODUCT THE SCALE OF WCW right?

Jeritron

Cena doesn't want to be a heel because he feels he is a hero and role model for troubled wiggers nationwide. However, it appears his followers aren't buying the PPVs and don't seem to get USA network.

That's such a load of shit. He's not going to be turned because Vince sees him as the current Hogan.

Cena IS professional. It's not him that chooses to lose only to unclean finishes. That's McMahon trying to keep him "strong". They did the same thing with Austin. He rarely lost and when he did it was via a screw job.

Where as Hogan will demand to win and demand to do it cleanly against anyone he faces (see: Orton, R and Michaels, S)

Undertaker would be my pick to win, but I'm not convinced they'd give a SmackDown! guy the nod.

The Undertaker is not seen in locker room as just another Smackdown! guy.

I think there's a remote possibility (VERY remote) that entry #30 could be Mark Henry returning from his 8-month injury. Just a guess like all the other guesses though.

Apparently 25 guys have already been confirmed by the WWE:

RAW:
1. Ric Flair
2. Shelton Benjamin
3. Edge
4. Johnny Nitro
5. Carlito
6. Chris Masters
7. Viscera
8. Kenny Dykstra
9. Shawn Michaels
10. Randy Orton
11. Jeff Hardy

SmackDown!:
12. The Undertaker
13. Matt Hardy
14. Chris Benoit
15. Montel Vontavious Porter
16. King Booker
17. Chavo Guerrero
18. Finlay
19. Kane
20. Mike Mizanin

ECW:
21. Rob Van Dam
22. Sabu
23. Hardcore Holly
24. Sandman
25. CM Punk

RAW will probably add The Great Khali, Super Crazy and Charlie Haas to the match. SmackDown! can probably offer forth Daivari in the "he's changed sides" moment of the night. A confrontation between Khali and Daivari would be...something.

We still have one more spot left. I'd give it to SmackDown!, just so they aren't so far behind. Rob Conway makes his SmackDown! debut? Not too epic. It could be Gregory Helms, defeating The Boogeyman for entry earlier. I think they should just give the spot to Jimmy Wang Yang. They've really got no one better. Tatanka does make more sense from a storyline perspective, but I'd rather it be Yang.

I'm not really looking forward to the Rumble. I get a sick feeling that The Undertaker will win.
