Mike Knox to be released?

On January 18 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/January_18), 2007 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007), Knox's name was briefly on the mass release list announced on WWE.com along with Tatanka (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Chavis). Tatanka's release came the next day, so it's expected for Knox's release to be announced soon. Though, until that time, he is still with WWE.Yes I know its wikipedia

When I read that Tatanka and Mike Knox were rumoured to be released, I thought that it was recalled because Knox would be kept under contract. Lo-and-behold, Tatanka is out of work.

I think Mike Knox will ultimately stay.

I'm guessing his release just hasen't been confirmed yet. I also think Sabu will be the one big name to get released.

I can see Balls Mahoney going. Tommy Dreamer, The Sandman and Sabu wouldn't surprise me either. I doubt all will be released, though. At least not at the present time.

Oh, and Shannon Moore will probably be released. Rene Dupree wouldn't surprise me, either. Sylvan could end up taking the axe, as well. Kevin Thorn really wouldn't surprise me, either.

I wouldn't be shocked, but I would expect for him to debut a week prior to being released, possibly in some kind of chicken costume.

You know, if Mike Knox is released, I think this could mean the WWE is using the professional execution of these guys to gain interest for their product. I'd love to think they just re-thought the decision to cut Tatanka and Mike Knox, but I really wouldn't put it past the WWE to officially fire them in drips and draps, just to keep hits on their site up. :-\
