View Full Version : Can anybody "go" right now?

There's been a lot of talk about the WWE's lack of developing talent and pushing everybody way too soon. This statement seems pretty true. In my opinion there's only two guys in the WWE who can actually go in the ring. HHH and HBK. I think HBK is on another level than HHH. Nobody can sell like HBK and nobody can carry a match like the guy. The only guy close to him is HHH. Well HHH is out for months now and I can't see anybody with decent wrestling skills getting a push. I hope HBK does because he makes wrestling "believable." Edge is fairly solid but I really dont' think he has the it factor. He's a supporting character more than anything.

I wish they'd give HBK a gimmack or something to do. The man goes out there every night and puts on a show. He's the show stopper for a reason. Infact, he IS the show. A guy like him should be feuding against Cena, to carry Cena to a decent match. A fucking Kamala-withskill in Umaga feuding against Cena doesn't sell me on watching the last half hour of most Raws.

I dunno, I just wish they'd push Michaels against guys who need the rub.

Your right but there are other guys that are as good or better. Edge is deffinatly on that level, Chris Benoit is probably beyond that level, I'd say Booker T is as good or better than Triple H, CM Punk will blow everyone out of the water in a few years I think. There are other guys but not a lot, your right they need to get some better wrestlers.

Edge is deffinatly on that level.

He has never been on the level of HHH, let alone Micheals.

Edge is better than Booker T. I've never bought booker. Also, I totally forgot about Beniot because to me, Smackdown and ECW have been cancelled.

Last nights Edge/HBK match was sweeter than candy tits. I'd say Edge can go. This could be the potential feud of the year.

I'm a mark for Test, so I'll say he can go. Given the oppertunity of course.

Shelton Benjamin can go. That guy was fucking crazy in last year's MITB ladder match, and I've seen him in some good matches since. Also his match a while back with HBK was phenomenal, and not actually because HBK carried it. Granted I wouldn't put him on the level of HBK or Benoit...yet. But again, since they seem uninterested in developing him and would rather stick him in a tag team that was exciting 4 years ago...his potential is taking a major hit.

Edge a supporting character? I suppose, but he's not more lacking "it" or not "ready to go" as Triple H was in 2000. Edge is the goods, and he has all kinds of potential. He's not going to be The Rock, and hes not going to be HBK in the ring, but he has everything needed and more to be on the level of a Triple H.

Rey Mysterio can go.

Comparing Edge to HHH at the peak of his career is rediculous.

I was kinda thinking about this last night. The WWE really hasn't been the same since Eddie Guerrero died. Seriously. It was like MJ going into retirement the first time... the place was lost.

A lot of guys can go, given the opportunity to shine. And I mean a real opportunity, not a WWE opportunity.

I did not watch last week, but I had heard that they anounced him being from "The Animal Kingdom." Is this true?

I would just like to point out that Test will win the title this sunday.

Not that the WWECW title means anything.

Rey Mysterio can go.

Do you seriously find him believable?

with HHH out of the Wrestlemania equation I would love to see
HBK in the main event.

Comparing Edge to HHH at the peak of his career is rediculous.

I was comparing them in terms of how much of a "supporting character" they are, and what they can do in their settings. Maybe Edge isn't HHH in his prime, but he's still Edge and he should be on the menu at Taco Bell because...he's good to go.

you should check in. Benoit's usually the one 'goes' any way. he's been having 15 minute matches virtually every match, against finlay and Chavo. really good, solid matches.

I watched one Smackdown with him the Champ and it's because I was on a 5 hour flight. I like believablity.
