I hope after MNM and The Hardys make their entrances for their tag team match, Theodore Long comes out and says that at Armageddon, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, William Regal and Dave Taylor got a surprise sprung on them when The Hardys and MNM were introduced to a newly stipulated Ladder Match. It's now time for MNM and The Hardys to have the same surprise pulled on them.

Cue London & Kendrick vs. The Blue Bloods vs. The Hardys vs. MNM II. The San Antonio crowd may actually enhance the match to classic levels, too.

The WWE wants surprises on their PPVs, doesn't it? This is one of the best they could pull. Combine it with Chris Benoit or Shawn Michaels winning the Royal Rumble, and you have an exciting start to 2007.

It might be an ok match, but you're fooling yourself if you think the crowd would care.

How is Shawn Michaels winning a suprise? Its in San Antonio and right now it's looking like he's the most likely winner based on Raw events and their need for him in the ME of WM.
Anyone from Smackdown winning would be a suprise, so I'll give you benoit. But likely Shawn, Orton or Edge will win it.

I think Shawn winning in his home town would be too obvious. I would imagine he almost wins, gets screwed by Edge or Orton, then wins it at NWO.

It being the Mania title shot.

Or my predictions come true and it ends up being a Fatal Four Way at WM with those 3 and Cena.

I can see the ending being very controversial

Only one problem with that there, slick...

No Way Out is an exclusively SmackDown! brand pay-per-view since 2004, so unless HBK jumps ship for the World Heavyweight Title (which I'm not even sure the Rumble winner gets "choice of title" priveleges anymore), there's no way that will happen.

Forgot about that, my bad. I suppose my scenario could happen on Raw, but it's unlikely. Maybe Shawn wins Rumble and RKO begin a feud? Would that make three Rumble wins for HBK?

If there's a second ladder match, Joey Mercury might implode his face... :(
