View Full Version : Pros vs Joes ad, shot at Cena?

Okay, so maybe I'm wrong here, coz I don't follow the show or "the sports" much. But one of the commercials says "I don't care how many belts you have or your rap album" or something like that.
I thought of Cena immediately, that it might be a backhanded shot at Cena/WWE. But I realised maybe there was a better explanation. So can anyone clarify what this is supposed to be referencing?

Oh lord.
Haven't seen the comercial KK, dunno. Spike has taken shots at the WWE before, so it's likely.

Like 25 posts and KK has cause you to spazz out. Either this is the begging of the second coming of Kano or you might as well get out now, before the water gets over your head.

people tend to be bias. just because they're in authority, they think they're right. i've made some decent posts when not dealing with idiots like this.
Bit up yourself, ain'tcha?

Basically, Illusionist, you're admitting that I'bothering you, and trying to "get back" at me.
Go ahead. It's just fucking funny.
'Sides, Destor's probably given me the best answer I'm gonna get.

PvJ is a show where they pit professional atheletes vs wannabes. this is, IIRC, season 2. The first one included Goldberg. The ads are based around either a professional athlete trash talking the average guy or the average guy trash talking the athletes.

It prolly is, who cares. Cena sucks anyway. The most annoying shit is when he comes out in camo and does his whole Marine thing because HE WAS NEVER IN THE FUCKIN SERVICE, HE JUST PLAYED A MARINE IN A SHITTY MOVIE. That...is my annoyance.

Ah, we have awful programmes like that over here too.

Anywho, I watched an episode of this a few days back. Interesting little show... Some of these people have no fucking clue what they're doing though.

I think that's the point though. It's not fun if you take the guys who actually know how to play these sports...

Touche'...
It was just on this one episode, they were trying to tackle some star tightend.... This one guy didn't have a fucking clue, didn't dive, grab onto him, or anything, he just sort of tried to stand in his way and was promptly knocked like 3 feet through the air. Everyone watching just broke out laughing.
I mean, they're terrible to the extent that I'm pretty sure I could out perform 80% of them.

Yeah, pretty much.
But it's like Idol. The real attraction seems to be the losers and morons. I saw a couple episodes of the first one, and it was mostly morons who just thought they could "show" someone.
