Let's assume Benoit wins the belt, eithe off HHH or HBK. in the next 2-3 months.

Which of those 3, do you feel was the biggest suprise that you never thought they would be champ

and which do you think was the longest overdue?

Also, when there title run is over, which one do you think had the best chance of holding the belt a 2nd time?

Biggest suprise, Eddie... never thought he'd stay clean and get another shot.

Overdue? tought call, I'll go Benoit, who always had the skills and never got the belt because he sucked on the mic.

2nd belt? assuming Benoit or Eddie don't dront and regain, I'll go Y2J, dunno why... just think his Mic skills, there will be a time once again, where they need him to carry the belt... injuries, movies, or something.

Yeah I agree with this. I never really looked at Eddie as a main event guy until this past spring/summer, then it was so obvious that I felt stupid for not seeing it earlier. So, with Eddie I cant really say its overdue. If Eddie can do any kind of business with the Latin market, then I think he will be in the mix for a long time.

Benoit on the other hand I thought should have been champion within his first 4 or 5 months in the WWE, but alas that wasn't to be.

I always figured Jericho would reach the top in the WWE because he's got more than just wrestling talents, and plus he was pushed from day one as main eventer. Then he got buried for awhile, but it didn'tshock me when he got back to the top.

Most surprising: Jericho. There was a 98% chance Eddie would beat Brock, since there was a No. 1 contender match and Goldberg wasn't in it. Benoit isn't so likely - it looked like a given he'd win the belt at 'Mania, but since HHH and HBK started getting up to their old tricks it's all up in the air - but there's still a decent chance. Therefore, I'll go for Jericho. I didn't hear anything about Jericho possibly winning, I just thought he was making up the numbers in the Vengeance tournament so Rock or Austin could take the title.

Most overdue: This is close between Eddie and Benoit, since both have overcome their own problems (drugs and injuries respectively, and among other things) and have consistently worked their asses off for years. I think I'll go for Benoit on this one, but it's close.

Most likely for 2nd reign: Probably Guerrero. Unless Jericho is suddenly thrust into the title picture, I can't see it happening for him anytime soon. Benoit will have his moment in the spotlight, and as much as I hate to see it happen, he'll just be dropped back into the midcard. Eddie has the talent, the look, the mic skills and the charisma, and since he's on Smackdown he has one distinct advantage over Benoit and Jericho - lack of politics.

I agree with Shake. It was pretty obvious as I stated in a previous post. Everyone was so shocked, but who didn't see it coming?

Most overdue is definitely Benoit.

Most likely for a 2nd reign, as much as i'd like to say Jericho, probably Guerrero

I dont think its a matter of being shocked when it actually happened, I took the question to mean shocked that they decided to put the belt on him. I mean its rare that I dont know about a title switch before it happens, so I guess I'd never be suprised. I mean I knew Jerihco was going to win, and I knew Eddie was going to win beforehand, but I was more shocked that they went with the idea of Eddie as champ then I was with Jericho or would be with Benoit.

Most Surprising - Eddie Guerrero by a long shot. Deep down I always knew Benoit would get a world title (and he did in WCW) and the second Jericho showed up in the WWF, he looked like a certain future champion. Jericho definately had moments where I thought he didn't have a chance though. I didn't really think Eddy Guerrero had a chance at a world title until 3 weeks ago and even then I had to see it to believe it.

Most Overdue - Chris Jericho. I was gonna say Benoit but Jericho should have gotten a chance in WCW being that he was the only talent in the whole company to get over without any help from the NWO. He should have got the WWF title when they did the Dusty finish with Hunter but they blew it. When he finally beat The Rock for the WCW title, I marked out like a bitch.

Most Likely for 2nd Reign - Chris Benoit being that he has a second world title coming at Mania but Jericho has to get the Raw belt when he turns face.

Frankly, no one saw Eddie winning it until the spoilers for SD! two weeks ago were released and the #1 contender's match was set up. Until then, most assumed that he'd work a feud with Angle to get into the main event, not feud with Angle to stay in the main event. That really came out of nowhere, and I'm hoping they do run with Eddie and make him a fighting champ, so as to look credible.

yeah, when I said "most suprising" I meant that the WWE put the belt on them, not that they won that specific match.

Most Surprising: Eddie Guerrero I would have to say him because I think everyone can admit that when you look at him in the past and how he wrestled when WWE decided to jump him into the big leagues everyone was wondering what the hell was going on.

Most Overdue: Chris Beniot When you look back to the WCW days he surely had it coming. I feel that he is just one of the greatest technical wrestlers of all time and is one of the most underrated.

2nd Title: Chris Jericho Yes much like when they moved Eddie to the big leagues, when they moved Jericho to the heavyweights I was thinking what the hell. But after he made his way in he has proven to be a great wrestler who can match up with the big boys. Surprised me on how well he could get over with the audiance as a face and a heel. I think the WWE should put the strap back on him again.

Most Surprising: Chris Jericho - I never expected him to win that four man tournament at Vengeance, especially with The Rock and Stone Cold in it.

Most Overdue: Chris Benoit - He's been working his ass off for years and was never given the proper respect that his skills demanded. If he wins at WrestleMania then it will be the most overdue title reign ever.

2nd Title: Chris Jericho - Although I don't think he'll get a title shot for a long, long time, Jericho deserves the belt again more than anyone. He's one of the most over superstars on RAW, yet they seem to be very against putting him into the title picture.

The sad thing is, Jericho's title reign was probably one of the most disappointing ever because of bad booking. I can't help but wonder if they're going to do the same thing to Eddie and Benoit. If Chris wins the title at Mania, how long is it going to be before the belt is back around the waist of the Game? And what if Eddie loses his match to Kurt at WM and doesn't get another shot? I know I'm being pessimistic here, but after they royally ****ed up Y2J's title reign I don't have a whole lot of faith in the WWE.

Most Surprising: Eddie Guerrero, because he jumped from one half of Los Guerreros in midcard hell to main event glory so fast. So glad that his talent is no longer being wasted.

Most Overdue: Chris Benoit, my reasons are the same as everyone else's.

2nd Title Reign: Chris Benoit, because I think that once he wins the title he's going to solidify a main event spot for a very long time, and be a long time contender for the World/WWE title.

--I can't say I was surprised with Jericho winning the Undisputed Title because of his heel turn, and his feud with The Rock the few months before. I was able to see an upset coming at Vengence.
