View Full Version : The best thing i've ever seen on American Idol.
Was the guy that came on the show a couple days after his wife died of cancer and sang his song, even though he was well beyond the age limit which was like 28 and he was 60 something. And he wasnt great, but good and they really were gracious to have him on the show.
I was really happy about this moment. Most of the shit i see on that show is really corny, but that was real and i really liked it.:y:

Did they put him through?

no, he was good but the rules are noone over the age of 28, he was 64 or something I think?
Also, I dont think he wanted to get through...he was just doing this for his wife who had cancer. He thought it might be something to give her a lift, but she died the Friday before the auditions.
It was a very nice moment and the judges were very classy

YEah that was pretty cool. Why it made the chicks around me cry I have no idea but it was cool. Sadly he's a better singer than a lot who seriously try out. He's got that old school music style.
