According to Wikipedia's page for the movie Bewitched:
Bewitched was the last film to be released on VHS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VHS)
Is there any truth to this? I wasn't aware VHS was actually dead yet.

I suppose it's possible it could be the last mainstream motion picture released. But I think they still release kids stuff and sports stuff on VHS. Pretty sure.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that Disney and Nickelodeon (mainly Nick Jr. for the latter) still releases some of their stuff to VHS.
As Avenger said, I wouldn't be surprised if it were the last Hollywood Theatrical release released to VHS, but straight-to-DVD (VHS) still come out.

Yeah, I was kinda doubting it. Just seemed like an odd claim to make.

I think the real question here is why did you wiki Bewitched?

Yeah, I work at a video store. I don't think Bewitched was the last movie but last March was the last month for VHS movies. I haven't noticed any kids movies coming out on VHS either, lately at least.

Same here. I work at a grocery store and we've been getting a steady flow of DVDs for a while now. However, I do think that during the holidays, a few VHS tapes might slip in from Nickelodeon and Disney.
But if people haven't gotten the message yet, VHS is dead. Pretty much.

I liked the TV series, checked that page, and when I saw mention, decided to see how the movie ended up doing.
