Anybody follow it? I've been semi-following it lately, but since signing day just happened yesterday I've really been checking it out. Pretty wild how USC got the top 3 rated prospects in the country.

UNC got a bunch of real nice players, plus two of the better d-tackles in the nation. Butch Davis knows how to recruit (he recruited all those players on the U when they won the National Championship)

Ohio State lost out on a lot of big time prospects, but they where saying they still picked up a solid class. Of course, the projections could be wrong and one of those 3 star guys could end up being sick. On the flip side, you could have a highly projected class that never pans out (The seniors on Florida State's team this past season where a highly rated class)

McKnight who went to USC is gonna be a difference maker though, you may "not care" about recruiting but there was a bunch of hype about Tebow and look how big of a spark he was this year for UF

I really think UNC and South Carolina are gonna do work this season though, gonna surprise some people.

It makes me want to play NCAA 2007

I heard Tebow was so good that it was impossible to not have him split time with Chris Leak, even though Leak was promised the starting job.

Noel Devine verbally committed to WVU, but he is too dumb (this is the guy who got adopted by Deion Sanders then split on him) to get in

I doubt he'll ever pan out, I mean the kids parents both died when he was like 12 so I can't say that I'm surprised..it's too bad though, he runs like he weighs 220 pounds when he really is only like 175. He would have real exciting to watch in WVU spread attack.

I dont know much about recruiting so where do you check it out at? And I'm gonna go play NCAA 07 soon. I am 100-1 and I just moved to the ranked number 119 Illinois fighting Illini. They are ranked number 5 now going into the final week. Yea

Illini had a huge recruiting class this year.

Recruiting is basically: www.rivals.com or www.scout.com (might be scouts)

Rivals is the most complete but you have to pay for a lot of it. Every big school has its own rivals site as well.

You can just check recruiting on any big time sporting site though, rivals kinda sucks since you have to pay for it. I just read about it on ESPN or CBSSportsline or whatever

I do the same shit on NCAA Football 07 though, I got Miami of Ohio invited into the Big Ten and won the National Championship with them. Pretty tight - I get way too many good recruits now though and my team is stacked, gonna have to switch it up.

For anything substantial on ESPN you have to have insider. At least until signing day, then when it doesn't matter you can see more.
