The US Airways website in Phoenix has announced that WWE will tape both Raw and the latest edition of Saturday Night's Main Event on March 5. There had been speculation whether WWE would get another special given how poorly the first two had done in the ratings. My guess is that the show will air on 3/10. ... It's just gonna be a shitty Wrestlemania promotional show. It's like a 2 hour advertisement with some meaningless hype matches and promos. Maybe we'll get something entertaining like Austin and JBL's segment last year.

If they want people to watch SNME they should be doing it at random times during the year and booking it with actual cards where things can actually happen instead of WM and SS preview shows.

SNME in the Attitude era would have been great for NBC.

Saturday's main event's used to be special because they had big time feels to it and main event calibar matches. Now their just another show, much like Raw but on Saturday.

Yea. The best way would be to book it as a PPV on broadcast television. I mean, with 15 ppvs a year would it hurt them to drop one and give away a PPV quality show for free? I think it'd do more good than harm.

Well, then they lose all that income from the PPV. No matter how low it is, I'm sure they at least break even with the PPVs. Otherwise they WOULD cut back.
