Thinking about subscribing to either the Pro Wrestling Torch newsletter or the Wrestling Observer newsletter. Not really concerned with which is cheaper... I just want the one with better news, opinions, etc. I'm talking about with news with TNA, WWE, etc. I'm sure both have Indy news, which I could care less about, but oh well. Which is better to those who have subscribed?

I'd say you'd get all the news they provide in the news forum on here.
I doubt i'd check them out regularly if I got them for free.
Can't comment on either (I think the Observer is more reputable) so I'd say go with an online subscription or two.
I have a subscription to PWInsider Elite and I couldn't be happier with the extra content (mostly audio and no ads). Hotlines, radio shows, full-length shoots...

Observer. Although you'll have to filter the Melter koolaid out.

Observer...just don't listen to anything Meltzer says about anyone. If he could he would jerk off to Canadian and asian men all day. It's unAmerican. He's a pinko Commie too...

I already subscribe to PWInsiderElite.com. More than satisfied with that. Would be nice to get the print subscription to something for the road.

The Observer is the Bible, the Torch is TP

Wrestlecrap. :shifty:
I used to read a little of the Observer on their website, and I'm glad I don't pay them money to tell me how much WWE sucks and TNA is awesome. I don't know if they still talk about TNA being awesome these days, but they're still probably biased against WWE.

Yeah, Meltzer has to push his bias on everyone.

Meltzer is still just butt hurt about Montreal and for some reason has made it his person goal in life to see everyone stop watching WWE.

Why would you buy a newsletter to read someone's opinion on a show anyway, you buy a newsletter for news. If you don't want to read the show recaps then don't, they're merely an extra to pad things out.
Plus whenever someone dies (and it's unfortunately frequent nowadays) Meltzer writes the best obituaries of anyone, period.
