Just curious. Prolly won't happen tho.

No.

Let the undertaker retire with it intact. Theres nobody strong enough or built up enough to warrant giving them that tag as the guy who ended the streak, espicially not batista. If anyone should have done it Orton would have been the obvious choice back when he feuded with taker. They blew that so i think its time that being undefeated at wrestlemania is undertakers legacy.

No way. Not to Batista atleast.

Yes, but not to the choices we have.

No. He's been with the company a long time and I think he should retire with the undefeated streak. Maybe someone else will come along and tie it or break it someday. Edge is already 6 up.

Yes, but to Batista? No.

Taker without his streak=legend.

Taker losing at a Wrestlemania is the equivalent of Hogan slamming Andre.

For story line purposes kane might be a good choice

if batista is gonna be a monster heel going in, i think they'll have him end the streak

You know what I can see happening. Dave pinning Taker with a foot being on the rope or whatever. PPV goes off the air with Batista celebrating.

That way, their big boy wins, on SD the match could be declared a 'non-event', and Batista can win clean.

Next year, no-one will remember what happened, so he'll still be 14-0, and then he can beat the Boogeyman in a 'worms-in-a-cell' match with a late assist from Skinner, the alligator man.

Nah, he may not be a 'smarks dream' but Undertaker has done enough to be considered a legend, so he deserves the undefeated streak at least.

him retiring with an undefeated streak is pointless in my opinion. That's like somebody retiring with the belt then going home. Kinda selfish if you look at it. Plus wrestling is a fake sport. Really what's so great about retiring with an undefeated streak in a fake sport like wrestling

You gotta pass the torch. Sure maybe Batista isn't the best bet. I think they'll have him lose the streak at next WrestleMania if they don't do it this year

Are you high? The smarks are all over Taker's nuts.

<stirke>Yes and no, so I voted I don't give a rats ass.

Yes, I want to see The Undertaker lose at Wrestlemania, but to someone who can gain the world from it.

Or, in better terms....

Kane Knight, The Naitch, YOUR Hero and Rammsteinmad are 100% correct. Keeping the streak does nothing for nobody.

The guy that ends The Undertaker's streak has credibility for life. They could lose to Funaki cleanly, then come out the next night and remind everyone they pinned The Undertaker at WrestleMania. You'd be FORCED to buy them as World Champion material. For the sake of business, The Undertaker pretty much must lose the streak.

The Undertaker should not lose it to Batista, though. Granted, 'Tista is undefeated at WrestleMania, and a third WrestleMania win could also dissolve Taker's wins into his, thus allowing someone to beat him at Mania and look godly, but really, what's the real point of that? It's a detour to get to the same result.

There are a bunch of guys in the WWE who could be built up to end the streak. Kenny Dykstra, CM Punk and Paul Burchill are young guys who could really use the win. People think it's ridiculous, but the person who beats The Undertaker will have credibility for life. I think it's foolish to waste it on a former World Champion. Punk has a lot of heat on him, but if they decided to turn him into something, a win over Taker at WrestleMania 24 would be it for Punk. Dykstra would be the Randy Orton program done right, and at his young age, it pretty much guarantees a Hall of Fame career. Burchill winning may seem pretty unrealistic, but the WWE has to high on him. He's a big guy who can wrestle, fly, basically a one-man roster. If they had him return under his current OVW character, a badass who takes no names, he could very easily replace The Undertaker as the WWE's signature monster.

There are also guys in the development league to consister like Dan Rodimer and Charles Evans. Big guys who are WWE creations, that I'm sure Vince will be high on. Either one of them could get the big win in a year's time, or even at WrestleMania 25.

If the WWE doesn't have someone end the streak, they are completely retarded.

I'd rather Cena do it than Batista.

In an ideal world, it'd be Kennedy, Punk, Dykstra, or Orton or even Edge next year. But realistically, Cena's the only person I can see getting the win in a scenario that wouldn't make me barf.

Actually, Funaki could win it and be instantly credible. That's how much the streak ending means.

The streak not ending? Meaningless.

If you want someone to beat Taker and have no credibility after it, then they should have Kane win against Taker. Now granted that would be pointless, but it makes a lot of sense having taker's "brother" finally end his streak and actually beat Taker for like the first time in his career ever. Now I doubt it would lift Kane's career at all just because the two are so intertwined in storyline that it could happen without any title implications. All that needs to happen is Kane to freak out on Taker sometime around the Rumble and theres your wrestlemania match. Im not saying it should or shouldnt happen, but I think it probably will.

Kane would be nice, but I seriously think it's too late in his career to be putting him over. At least Batista's a relatively new (albeit not a young) star, and even he's a bad idea.

Though still less bad than Taker retiring undefeated.
