Having not seen it for a long time, it's hard for me to agree. Especially with my zealous fondness of Anchorman.

seriously though I have to agree. AP is such a life defining movie for me. Plus me and my buddies had pretty similar experiences and each of us were pretty similar to either Oz, Stifler, Kevin or Jim. I was Kevin. and yes, Jim did have a similar experience to the Nadia thing.
Not by a long shot, but very enjoyable nonetheless

American Pie 2 > American Pie > All other American Pie films.
But each film is still very enjoyable, though not what I'd call the greatest film of all time in my opinion.

American Pie is a classic. I don't know how Your Hero would think so, considering that he was like 35 when it came out, but for those of us who were in the target audience, it was a typical, classic high school movie.
Also, American Pie 2 wasn't nearly as good, but Stiffler alone was pretty funny.

Has anybody seen "Band Camp?" Fucking terrible.
Why does Eugene Levy dirty himself like that?:nono:

Hope you aren't lumping me into "target audience".

At the time it came out, you were not the target audience, if you are in fact 19 currently.
I am, in fact, currently 19, and I was definitely in the target audience, as I sat in the theater and laughed my ass off for the first American Pie.
11-years old really isn't that young for this type of film. Not by today's standards.
I'd probably have to go with Karate Kid myself.

I thought the 2nd one was hilarious, and the 3rd was pretty good too.

lol definately funnier.
American Pie is great in many ways and the humor is awesome. But it doesn't touch the great comedy movies of all time. Movie is just hugely nostalgic for me.

American Pie is a good flick and yeah, it has a nostalgia factor. But I think American Psycho was funnier.

Seriously AP is amazing, but if it's the funniest film you've ever seen then there is something seriously wrong.
