Why can't Dusty get him back into the company?
Would any of you like to see him back?

I'm watching his RF shoot interview and they asked him how he'd rate himself as a worker. He said, "one of the best in the business."

Why would they bring him back for the 850th time?

I mean, they undoubtedly will eventually, just...

WHY!?

The WWE already have one superstar on the roster who likes to beat women; they don't need anymore.

Notice I didn't say I want to see him come back.

I was asking if any of you do.

'Twould be, except...

Eh, it wouldn't bother me if he never came back. I'm not a fan of the guy, although I will admit that I loved the Booker T-Goldust skits from a few years ago.

As long as he's gotten over his tourettes, he could be tolerable.

Bring Back Tourettes!

Kane Knight

I liked the Tourettes gimmick. Well, for a little while, anyway.

Goldust will be back, regardless of whether we want him to or not.

Frankly, I'd like to see him come back only if he's the original Goldust, and not watered down or turned into some campy gimmick.

Yeah, the original Goldust was so mysterious and creepy...fucking loved it.

Goldust is one of the deepest characters the WWE has ever done. Seriously. I couldn't get into him in his most recent stint with the company, simply because he didn't have the robe when he came to the ring. He kind of just seemed to be half-assing it.

I'd love to see him on SmackDown!, either feuding or teaming with King Booker. Resurrect the "I Still Remember" angle if you have to. I can just imagine King Booker talking about how he and his bishop are going to stand against their foes, and Goldust saying something poetic like "I am the Touch of Midas" and Booker just snapping back to his Booker T persona.

I also think his interactions with his brother would be great. Have Cody embrace his father's past, whereas Dustin hides it, and wants to make his own legacy. The rejected gold sheep of the family, Goldust vs. daddy's boy, Cody.

He should at least be able to induct his father into the Hall of Fame.

They should bring him in as Golderdust. Like Goldust V2. With great big spikes on his shoulder pads that shoot burning hot acid. That'd be HOT.

In all seriousness, Dustin Rhodes will never be a star in wrestling. He's got the curse of the famous Daddy.

Worse attire: Gold body suit or polka dot panties?

He didn't really do the psych warfare stuff, either.

He didn't really do the psych warfare stuff, either.

That's true. He did introduce an interesting stance to the character, just kind of a squat waiting for his opponent to make a move. But yeah, he was basically a normal guy who dressed in gold.

I know a lot of people would probably want the Hall of Fame ceremony to remain dignified, but what if Dusty Rhodes agreed to use his induction as an angle? Cody and Dustin are confirmed to be inducting their father, so why not have Dustin come out as Goldust, and try and induct himself into the Hall of Fame. Dusty is pissed, so he backs Cody in a feud against "The Gold Sheep" Dustin.
