He's found a niche doing this family friendly movies. Probably has a billion dollars saved up, or he's back snorting coke. Either way, he's doing himself well.

Pretty sure it was selling coke that got him in trouble:p
Both Toy Stories are f'n awesome
I concur.
In fact, it was the second DVD (set) I ever got.

After seeing "A Shaggy Dog" I agree it must be a clause in his contract!

Yeah, I have never seen him in a good movie. Toy Story doesn't count as it's just his voice, not his acting.

Galaxy Quest and Toy Story are good. This Hog Wild movie he's doing might be good, I've only seen billboards for it, no actual trailer or anything. Meh. He's an actor. Sometimes they do good stuff, sometimes it's pure shit...

I liked a few of his movies. Zoom is the most recent one.

So no other well known actor has ever done a shitty movie, have they?

Toy Story is good. I hear the boys at Disney got Toy Story 3 in the works.

Of course the first two were successful. Disney will probably make three more, jam packed with fart/poop jokes and absolutely no substance whatsoever. In fact, I heard that Toy Story 5 is already set to be entirely about Happy Meal toys exploring the wonderful world that is the McDonalds Playplace, while they discover how tastey the food is and how happy living in their McDonalds home makes them.

Thought Pixar made the Toy Story movies under the disney name. No wthat they are separated, if disney decides to make another one, it will most likely be straight to DVD crap.

I guess you liked "A Shaggy Dog" then?
Of course other actors have done shit films....Tim Allen just does more than most.

Maybe Tim Allen is the reason the movies are shit. It would coincide with his acting skills.

Christmas with the cranks was pretty good tbh.
It had a couple funny moments. I laughed pretty hard at the botox scene.
As far as Toy Story 3 is concerned, I've heard rumors it's going to be animated and not 3D.
If it's true that's bullshit.

Well Toy Story was the big groundbreaker into this new realm of animation. Nobody else was doing computer animation at the time. It's only fitting that the Toy Story franchise does it again by doing the exact opposite. Now they're the only animated movie among a sea of worthless computer animated ones.

Or maybe its just a cheap straight to dvd crap that will sell to kids no matter how bad it is.

Does what? Be a big groundbreaker by going back to prior tech? That makes no sense. Not to mention that there are still animated movies coming out. I mean, not only is it false, but it makes no sense.

The best thing Tim Allen ever did was Home Improvement.
But he's still the goods. :y:

I haven't watched it for ages, coz it's all old reruns they play now. But if they ever released 'em on DVD I'd snap 'em up in an instant.
In the US they have up until at least the fifth season.

Home Improvement was good times, but when I watch it now, it's a bit too corny and it really did start to go downhill early on.

I love Galazy Quest...sure its one of his worst movies in a lot of peoples minds.
Im actually looking forward to HogWild....Might be interesting to see all those actors together in a movie, definently something I thought I would ever see.

I'll enjoy almost anything with Alan Rickman in it. I've got to say that right up front.
Galaxy Quest was a trashy movie. You might like it, but it's the sort of thing you like despite itself.

Toy Story 3 is going to be 3D by Pixar, don't you worry. :y:
That series doesn't count as something "good" by Tim Allen, though. Even Eddie Murphy has the Shrek series. Murphy hasn't done anything good (sans Dreamgirls) for some time.
